I would recommend the Neverkink hoses. Make sure you get the appropriate length for your needs. When you first get it, let it melt in the sun some before unraveling it, and you won't have any issues.

I recommend 5/8 inch hose in either 50 or 100 foot length. Depends on how much you want to spend and whether it will be enclosed in a hose reel or left out in the open. I use 100 feet lengths of 5/8 inch hose in covered hose reels front and back. The covered hose reels protect the hoses from the UV rays of the sun and keep the hoses neatly stored and out of the way. First, consider the following... how long does my hose need to be, where/how will I store it, will it be left out all year or only during the gardening season, do I have a need for more than one hose (for example, if you would like to set up two or more sprinklers at the same time). Also consider the water pressure and delivery rate of the water at your house - this will help you determine the diameter Read More

Also consider the water pressure and delivery rate of the water at your house - this will help you determine the diameter of hose to purchase. After those basic questions are answered, then ask yourself how long you would like the hose to last and how much you are willing to spend. Armed with all this information, then go to The Home Depot or shop online... there are many, many good choices. A premium/commercial grade rubber hose is a good all-around choice. A less expensive vinyl hose can also be very good. If you wish to purchase a hose reel, go for the most flexible hose you can find. To some extent, all hoses are pretty good at their respective price points, so the bottom line is, you really do get what you pay for. Read Less

Your best bet would be to get a 100 ft heavy duty no kink strong hose. It will be worth the money.
It is durable and the length should cover a good size garden. You need to estimate the distance from your water hookup to your garden then do your math on the length to determine the footage you need to cover your entire garden. If it is a large garden then consider getting an extention hose if you cannot

Online orders will not include military discount. Only in store orders on certain items will. In store purchase of garden hose would most likely qualify if proper military ID is available when checking out.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Never kink my A.. The hose had a kink in it from the factory. Ive used it three times and it's kinked twice. It's going back! July 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Sprung a leak after 2 weeks The hose sprung a pin hole leak about 2 weeks after purchase. Prone to kinks in the line as well. July 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by should be called the AlwaysKinks Piece of garbage. Other reviewers are right. Kinks all the time. Waste of money. If i could give zero stars i would. July 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great hose-gave as a father's day gift to someone who will use it with his powerwasher! no kink is the only hose to buy-takes little effort to use and makes any job less stressful! June 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by No kink garden hose So far the hose has not kinked, which was my whole reason for purchasing, as 100 pulling 100 feet of hose around the yard and having to walk back and fix kinks has always been an issue. So far no kinks with this hose. Appears to be very durable and well constructed. After a month of heavy use it's till going strong, which is great. June 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Smells Bought 2-50' hoses, very happy with the quality, rarely kink, somewhat difficult to roll up due to the thick construction Will not recommend because water first spraying from hose after setting all night smells like sewer water. Smell quickly disappears after hose is flushed out probably safe as long as you don't drink from the hose I just don't like the big stink June 18, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by non kinking hose kinked the first time used The hose seems heavy duty, cost over $40 and was billed as a hose that would not kink. Guess what, it kinked the first time I used it. It worked better than the valves and shut-offs that I purchased at Home Depot. About 30% of them leak, some pretty badly. Well I guess it's my fault because I can't find good American made products. June 14, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by So fair it has worked perfectly` The hose that I purchased so far has never kinked or noted up. The quality is good but after I purchased this hose I have found the same product at other places for less money but I would not return it because the difference was not that much to even bother with.
