This is a decent trellis, but at $170 it's kid of expensive. It must be fully assembled, but the 5-step directions are simple and I put it together in 15 minutes; even the screws are included. I did not attach this trellis to the house. I mounted it as a free standing trellis to help conceal an AC unit and well pump. I sunk each post in a 20-inch hole, secured with a 50-lb bag of cement and crushed stone. The base is well secured, but the trellis is tall and I can easily make it sway. The material is PVC/Vinyl but it should be more rigid to minimize swaying.

The trellis was exactly what we needed to finish off the entrance to our house. The bougainvillea is going to love it.

I just love the Grande trellis by New England. It is a well made trellis. It was a cinch to assemble, and it went together with ease. I did insert pressure-treated lumber into the post sleeves to give the trellis additional support. My only wish is that the sleeve went further up into the post. In Florida we get heavy rains with high winds. I do fear the weight of the Mandevilla will cause the trellis to sway back and forth ultimately compromising it. Time will tell if that happens.

The trellis is large, but is just the right size for my 5 year old climbing rose bush. It should really help make the green foliage and red blooms stand out. It was easy to assemble. I used ground contact rated 4x4s, trimmed them to fit about a foot into the bottoms of the trellis. And two feet of 4x4s concreted into the ground for extra support. The only thing I did not like that it is made in china. However the quality is good.
