You get exactly what you see!
We were looking for a Pergola to put in our backyard, in the center of a small vineyard, on top of a newly installed flagstone patio. This pergola was perfect, not to big, not too small. We purchased a circular type couch, end table, and ottoman to go under the pergola and it looks amazing! Please be aware that the installation will take 3 people, and trust me, you need all 3. You will need 2 people to hold the pieces in place while a 3rd person drills. And don't forget to check your measurements often.
Again, this product looks just like the picture and is very durable.
I hope this review helps =)

The instructions were easy to follow and the results look lovely. However, the adhesive included was dried out. Please be sure to purchase a tube of vinyl adhesive at your hardware supply store.

If you try to a pergola built in Austin, TX, it will run you at least $1500 for the same solution. So your upfront savings is decent, but the best thing is that you will not be repainting or restaining or doing custom cuts to get the same results. Don't get this product without spending the extra $100 for the base brackets as you want the extra anchoring. This is not a product that you want to climb on as it is only rated at 50lbs on top. Installation was pretty simple, but you want 2 people and plan to measure everything 3 times; with vinyl you only get one shot or you have a screw hole you will notice. The best is that the company that manufacturers covers it with a 20 year warranty against part defects and yellowing from UV exposure. Once built, you will notice a bit of play in the whole solution, but you want that in the case of windy conditions and the manufacturer stated that was normal.

I was very impressed with this product and the ease of putting it all together. I used the bolt down bracket system (purchased separately) and was amazed at how sturdy the pergola was, using the bracket system, and it fit perfectly on our deck. My wife loves it, as do I.

This is by far one of the best products I have ever purchased from Home Depot. It is so beautiful once placed in the backyard even the neighbors yell over the fence to compliment me on the purchase and ask how to get one of their own. Would recommend it to everyone.

My "handyman" put this up for me with no problems, one person, I only helped a bit to "thread" the posts. I love it and would recommend to anyone.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Gurl Nice pergola to perk up the yard and patio
It was installed in 2 days/stages by our handyman. The installation was relatively smooth except for some minor problems you might want to anticipate.
Our patio slab slopes away from the house (difference of 2 inches), so our installer wasted a few frustrating hours hours trying to figure out why everything wasn't leveling out right! :) We also bought the bracket kit that was recommended. My installer felt that the anchoring bolts were inadequate and replaced them with better ones he had to buy from the local hardware store. Also, you will need 4 ft high 4x4s which I didn't notice being mentioned when ordering online.
The end product looks nice, and sparkles after each rainstorm (clean vinyl lol), and you can definitely tell it's vinyl. Just to also note the height...on the specs it says 8 ft. For us, we step DOWN about 6 inches from our house onto the patio concrete. The pergola was installed next to our sliding door directly onto the concrete slab. So when standing inside the house looking out, the pergola looks a little "low", not to mention that we had to cut 2 inches off on one side where the slab was lower to make it level (otherwise, it'd just look like it was slanting AWAY from the house). Maybe we should have added some stone/brick bases to increase the overall height. Also, a 6x6 pergola is small...just enough for a small bistro dining set underneath to look nice, fyi. Does it look nice? Yes. Does it add value, somewhat. Would I buy it again, not sure. Recommend for ease of assembly, relative value, no maintenance required. If you have a high value property, do the real thing :)
