Answer:
The only unit we had tested is the 2500 series door canopy. A 48" x 42" unit is rated at 60lbs/sq in. The 2500 series projects out at a 15 degree angle. The 3500 Series comes out at a 45 degree angle so the snow sheds right off.

Answer:
Yes. Also the awning will have one support arm in the middle. Depending on the layout of your window (picture window with a smaller window on each side) you might need to request 2 support arms for the middle.

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 34 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Aluminum Awning Needed a set of awnings for the West side of the house with windows generating a great deal of heat in Las vegas. Upon receiving the 2 six foot awnings I was a little unhappy with the cost and what the pieces appeared to be but after assembling and realizing what it takes to make these parts I was impressed with the overall rigidity and design. Both awnings went up easily and went together easily. I recommend whomever decides to put these together make sure to use a large enough platform to accommodate the fabrication without damaging the parts or yourself. A 4 x 8 sheet of plywood works very well. I recommend these awnings. July 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice product Have five of these so far. Well made. Stands up to high winds fine. Keeps the room cooler. Very satisfied. Still more to buy! June 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Light weight makes installation a snap Overall, I'm very pleased with this product. Initially, I purchased three of them to install for a client. Assembly took some patients and some of the factory-drilled holes didn't line up but that was the only con I could see. The aluminum makes it easier to drill your own holes if you have to and the light weight makes it easier to install from a ladder. You only need one hand to hold it while setting it into the groove in the mounting bar. The client was so pleased with their appearance and performance that he ordered two more. Great product! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good sun blocker here in Phoenix I narrowed mined up 9 1/4" to fit my window. Very easy to do and everything went together good. Goind to order a couple more after x-max. December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Awnings For The Money. 7 FT Awnings went together well,2 man job to install.Finished product looks good and does the job well. October 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love my awnings! My new awnings look beautiful on the house. They are very sturdy and work to keep light out but give enough light. Easy to assemble and install! October 28, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good product My husband and I were able to install it. Since we are both 80 yrs. old that is quite an accomplishment. September 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Awnings When installing on brick, I recommend using double end masonry anchors. If your brick has holes, you will find that a single end anchor goes behind the hole and will not support it. Otherwise it looks good, the aluminum is great looking and it is easy to install if you have the right tools. June 23, 2015
