I like having a lightweight toolkit around the house that doesn't take a lot of room and has the basic tools plus some extras. This set is nice because the durable case stands up on its own making it easy to slide onto a closet shelf out of the way. Having one side a lighter color rather than all black allowed me to write my name and number on the outside with permanent marker in case I need to travel with this set. The tool quality is good enough for general around the house use. I like that the tools snap in to the case securely without damaging or weakening the mold. That's what happened to my old set...so every time I opened the case, tools fell out and closing the case again was always an ordeal. This one doesn't seem like it will have that problem even over time.
All the pieces except for the sockets are easy to extract from the mold. All snap back very easily. Another plus of this set over my last one is that the two halves of the case are connected by a third piece, rather connected directly to each other. This allows the case to open flat with no wear on that edge.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Victor Value tool kit
This tool kit is a real value for money. The tools are of excellent quality and come in a good looking durable plastic carry case. Overall its pretty lightweight given the contents of the kit .The tools included are good to have either in your home, garage or your car, where it can cover all your basic repair/maintenance needs. Definitely recommended.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by bizgoody1 Good set, but longevity unknown
As a set, this tool collection does seem to have just about every tool you can imagine needing, in a nice compact and organized case. I have to be honest thought that my first impression is that the materials used to make them don't appear to be very high quality made to stand the test of time. However, I would like to mention that, in my personal opinion, this set would be absolutely perfect, and adequate, for a person who lives in an apartment and needs to have a reliable tool set on standby for small projects that come up!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BigJerm Great tool set to keep in your truck box
I received this tool set to keep in my truck in case of an emergency. I have only had it about 3 weeks and have already used it 3 times. I was getting ready to leave my vacation property and I went to close the garage door and it completely came off track. I was able to use the tool set to fix the door and head home. I really like the 360 degree box because you can either flip it all the way around or lay it down flat. The tools them self seem to be pretty durable but I would not use them for anything that requires some heavy duty work.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sarah Good Set for Small Jobs
I recently received and began using this tool set. It comes in a nice case which can open and turn 180 degrees which is convenient for having all the tools readily available while you're working. I think that this tool set is perfect for someone in an apartment, perhaps to keep in a car or as a second set of tools. The quality was fine, but not so heavy-duty that I'd necessarily use it for major and frequent work. However, for my purposes it's perfect. It is my "around the house" set that I use for smaller jobs and minor maintenance and it has a great variety of the most commonly needed tools for that purpose. I think this would be a great gift for someone moving into their first home or apartment who needs the basics or if you want a compact set that you can keep in a convenient place for easy access (as opposed to my husband's cluttered workshop in the basement!).
