Wall is 8 ' long and 5 ' wide. How many boxes needed?

Wall is 8 ' long and 5 ' wide. How many boxes needed?
Asked by: Nana
I found this description in the 'Product Overview' section to be quite helpful & accurate: "Box covers 8.7 sq. ft.". I used a random online square feet calculator/converter to determine what my total sq.. ft. would be, then I divided the total by 8.7 (rounded up) , and the result was how many boxes I needed. It was pretty accurate, with about 2 web sheets left over.

how do you apply this to the wall? Do you use screws or some sort of grout?

Asked by: bob
To apply the Brickweb to my concrete block wall, I WAS going to use the grout/ bag product that was recommended with this, but instead I opted to use this, which was already mixed & ready use:

Can this product be applied over cement board behind a wood stove
Asked by: Max
I don't really know what 'cement board ' is, but if you're question is whether or not it will adhere to cement wall, my answer is likely, yes. My brickweb is over a cinder block wall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice looking finish product I ordered brick web on line as Home Depot does not have any of this product in store. It arrived promptly by delivery truck and driver asked where to place palate. Each of he five panels per box is very heavy and I had concerns about it adhering to the exterior plywood sheathing. The mortar recommended by brick web at Home Depot maws fantastic for adhering to the wall. Some of the bricks were not glued onto webbing straight. I was either able to remove them and reset on the wall individually or use a screw into the wall the tween bricks to hold in position while drying. The main issue I have was grout film removal. I sealed bricks prior to grouting and then used the Home Depot film removing products with no results. Muratic acid at Home Depot worked fairly well. I would recommend brick web to any one as this was my first time working with brick and following directions the final product looks great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! This product was easy to install since it has the webbing. The finished wall looks like full-size brick even though it's a fraction of the thickness. Everyone who saw the completed accent wall...loves it...and asks me how it was done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE! This is a great product. I am a fairly handy DIYer. I had a front stoop that chipmunks had made their home and made a large hole in the seam where the concrete meets the walkway. Once I got rid of those terrible critters (wasn't easy) I pondered what to do with the stoop. I patched the concrete with a type of quikrete and it worked great but I have read that it wouldn't hold forever and the color difference didn't look that great. I stumbled on the brickweb and read everything I could about application. I bought the recommended thinset and sanded tile morter. Honestly, it couldn't have been quicker or easier. I also sealed the bricks a couple of weeks later. It looks amazing. I have a couple of the sheets left and wish it could be purchased by the sheet and/or with the option of ordering the flat bricks and corners together. This IS real brick veneer. I didn't feel the grout lines were abnormally large as I read in a couple other reviews. I would love to see this concept in a product like slate, field stone, and river rock. It's just a fantastic product that begs of product expansion and marketing.
