I have purchased this product from your stores on two occasions (I'm told it is now only availlable on-line).

On the first occasion, the product had a 'SHOWER' setting and not a 'MIST' setting. On the second occasion, it hada MIST setting but not a SHOWER setting.

I want to order more with the MIST setting. If I order more on-line, I want to be sure to get the MIST setting.

Answer:
with the model I have you can set the diffuser to maximum (3 clicks on top) and depending on which pattern you have it on it should spread/fan out the spray for more mist/rain and not such a direct spray

Will this Replace my Wand Sprinkler?

My Front Yard is 25 ft wide x 40 Ft long

New to using these types of Sprinklers
Always used Wand Type sprinklers..

can I set the spray pattern to cover this area?
I'd imagine 180 degree wide and will spray out that 40 ft distance, with about 25 psi ( On Well Water)

Will this do the job vs using my Wand type sprinkler that I have to Drag out all the time and put it away..?

I Figure to Just run the hose thru my Bushes ( with my 2 hr timer) , into this Unit stuck in the ground at the Edge of the bushes and begining of the lawn & just turn on the Water faucet and set the timer and Jobs done.. an djust put it out in the spring, ring it back in in the Fall..

During July & August , things get dry Here in Wi. and I have to water every week ..

If this works? No More Lugging out & Putting away the Wand Sprinkler all the time anymore.. and won't get in the way of when mowing the lawn.., like the wand sprinkler does..

Answer:
it should be able to get that distance you can set the arc for whatever radius you need (narrow to nearly 360 degrees) and do not put on the diffuser (each pattern can also have the diffuser set to 4 different options (essentially none, small, medium, and large) to make that distance. there are six different patterns, some shoot farther some not as far.

If you were to place the sprinkler in the middle of your lawn - though it sounds like that is what you're trying to avoid - that would reduce the required spray distance down to only 20 feet on each side, which should allow the sprinkler to reach the entirety of your lawn. Yes, the gears at the bottom of the sprinkler can be set very close together to create a very narrow strip to be watered.

db, in essence you can. You can't set it to be perfectly stationary, per se, but you can adjust the arc of the spray even down to nearly no movement at all. Please feel free to contact our Support team at 1-800-488-6156 if you have any other questions, and we'd be happy to help. Thanks!

Answer:
That depends on your water pressure. City pressure is around 60 gpm and these sprinklers I believe put out about 3.5 gpm therefore it would make sense that you could put four of these out there with no problems.

Answer:
natelli, that is a difficult question to answer straight-up. You will lose water pressure for each sprinkler you add to any line, but it will depend on your faucet pressure to really determine whether you will have adequate pressure at the end of your line (no matter how many sprinklers you add). The length of hose between the sprinklers will make a difference, as well. Please contact our Support team at Read More

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Great potential, not a great sprinkler I absolutely hate myself for just driving to Home Depot this afternoon and buying another one of these sprinklers! So why did I do it? Because I really like the sprinkler, the patterns are a perfect match for my yard, big areas and tiny areas and it MISTS FLOWER BEDS REALLY WELL! B U T, and that is a big B U T, it isn't made very well, this is my THIRD one, the other two broke, one just quit going back and forth and the other literally exploded just above the setting rings and shot a stream of water 15 feet into the air which I didn't notice for over an hour, flooding my flower bed, plastic pieces were lying all around the spike. Yes, they leak a bit, they don't last very long, they feel a bit fragile and getting a look inside one (an opportunity afforded me by the one that exploded) I see a SUPER SKINNY plastic pin that actuates the back and forth that looks like it would break in a stiff wind. "IF" this sprinkler were better thought out, made entirely of brass, and cost $100, I would likely buy it, I like it that much. But as-is, it is too expensive to be this fragile and un-reliable. We'll see how my third one holds up, three in less than two seasons. So, there ya go..; August 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great product. Much better than cheaper optipns. Nice option on spray patterns. Own several of these, don't let them stay out in freezing conditions: cracked body. Start to stick and need cleaning/lubrication after a year of daily use. September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best gear drive sprinkler for home use I have two one for my front yard and rear to side yard. So easy to adjust the spray pattern and works so quiet. Never annoys my neighbors no matter what time they turn on. I find it to be a great product. September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Reasonably Priced Sprinkler Have used multiple sprinklers over the years - for those without an in-ground system, this may be the best reasonably priced sprinkler around. August 16, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Purchased in a Pinch Purchased this gear drive sprinkler in a pinch when our secondary water was turned off because of an algae outbreak and we could not use our automated sprinkler system. I was hopeful the gear drive sprinkler would be powerful enough to at least water our most dire areas. It was not as powerful as I had hoped it to be and ended up having to purchase a different sprinkler. August 16, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by EH! This purchase was to replace a two year old unit of similar style , long tripod legs but the same head. The older unit had good coverage but tended to overspray the desired area and was rather light so it took a long time to deep soak the lawn adequately. It is being replaced as the gears appear stuck and no longer sweeps across the desired pattern. Kinda lame for two years old. July 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not rotate Had for 2 weeks stopped rotating, would reset it run for 10 min same thing, not happy for $17 bucks July 22, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Don't bother Worked ok for a few weeks but had to be adjusted over and over. Finally the head popped off and I saw in my yard. Only had it about 7 months. Won't buy this brand again. July 11, 2016
