Answer:
They say to brush off snow that accumulates more than 8". It has a pretty good slope, so most of it should just slide off.

What is the recommended method for fastening this greenhouse to a cement slab?

We would like to fasten the greenhouse directly to a cement slab. The instructions refer to fastening hinges that are not included and using pre-drilled holes in a aluminum base that is included-- we were not able to understand what the instructions were referring to. Can we just use the small clamps that are provided and cement screws?

I used the supplied clips, then drilled into the concrete and used concrete fasteners.

Answer:
What my contractors did was put anchors into the cement in specific places prior to the cement completely setting up. The anchors then came up through a seal plate they put around for the greenhouse to set on. Then they used the clamps that were provided to attach the green house to the seal plates. Like when you build a house.

Thanks for your question. As written in out Assembly Instructions , this is a multi-part assembly best achieved by two people. Allow at least half a day for the assembly process.

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 22 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent in all regards!!! It actually showed up a day ahead of time! I worked on it after work Thursday and Friday for about 4 hours each evening. Finished setting it up on Saturday, then anchored down on Sunday and installed the shelves. It went up without a hitch. Instructions were clear and precise. Once you figured out their style of assembly, channel and bolt, it really makes a lot of sense. They put a lot of thought into the construction and assembly of it, and the functionality of the finished product. I just may buy another extension kit for it! Don't hesitate to pull the trigger on purchasing, it really is a great value and a nice product! September 13, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Does its job well We have had this greenhouse for over 4 months now. My wife and I had no problem with the instructions. The suggestion regarding silicone spray should be a requirement but when both parts being joined are siliconed they slide together easily. The little tool for sliding the supports into retainers at the seems of panels did not work effectively; better to get a large paid of channel locks and squeeze the support end into the retainer. There was one part that arrived broken but the company replaced it with no questions asked and it arrived in under 48 hours. The parts are labelled well; sorting them before assembly helps. The greenhouse itself seemed shaky during assembly but at the end when the braces and supports are in a tightened it becomes very solid. So far we have had very heavy rains and wind gust to 40 mph with no damage. We even had a rabbit and squirrel run inside accidentally and bash against the back panels trying to get out with no damage. In the sun it warms up fast in the morning. When it is above 90 we run a fan. All the plants have done fine so far. We both feel this was worth the money, June 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great quality greenhouse. A little pricey. I originally bought this greenhouse to have a place for us boys to hang out in the wintertime (with a heater of course). Since winter broke, we've used it as a greenhouse and love it. At first, the directions were difficult to grasp. Once you get the hang of it its much easier. Make sure you start on level ground. I built a platform (you can see in picture) which helped with it being level. I was amazed at the engineering and thought that went into the product. Amazing. Its very light weight so make sure you secure to a base. July 15, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice greenhouse but get your tools out. There were bent parts on arrival, due to the usual shipping clumsiness. But they could be bent back. Some of the weather stripping was torn and stuck to random parts -- again, shipping. To assemble the greenhouse, I had to grind down various tabs so they would fit in place. It's as if Palram had never attempted to assemble their product. Some window rails were completely closed and had to be pried open. We invented better ways to install various parts, especially the roof, which was presented in the instructions in the wrong order. We ended up using a huge array of tools to get it all to work. It took two people sixteen hours not the six that was advertised. However, it's a solid greenhouse. Anything that complicated won't snap together out of the box, though I don't know why. Just get ready to take a deep breath and get after it. We ended up returning the anchoring kit, as it was un-installable, once the greenhouse was built. You can't climb on the roof to install needed parts and you can't pry off the railing protectors once their in place. April 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to assemble 2 of us assembled this product in a weekend. It was easy to put together. The pictures were fairly straight forward. September 4, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Instructions are great!! This product was easy for two people to build in one day. I do however wish the panels were thicker. Ordered shade kit from the company, it got here quick and was easy to install. November 10, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Snap A Headache This product is not a "snap" to assemble. Be prepared to spend hours, likely multiple days putting your Snap And Grown together. I even had 5 people assisting, two of which work in construction and it made for a 9 hour process-still not finished. The pieces do not fit together well. We noticed from the start it was very difficult to get parts to fit together as the directions instruct. The directions are basically non-existent minus many drawings that only confuse you more than help you. Lastly, the customer service was not good. I ordered an 8X12 greenhouse and received an 8X8. You are better off building your own than purchasing this product. January 13, 2015
