Customer Questions & Answers

how many holes do I need drilled

Asked by: Anonymous
You can use a single hole for the faucet and one for the soap dispenser. If you already have three holes, the included base plate will cover them and the center hole will be the one where all of the plumbing for the faucet will fit through. If you only have three holes and wish to use the soap dispenser, you could use one hole for the faucet, one for the soap dispenser and then purchase a plug (in the plumbing department) that are available in different finishes to match your facet to cover the third hole.

I thought this was a great faucet when i first got it, but after having it for two years (to the date almost - I got it in March of 2015) the pump for the soap has never really worked well, it acts like it's low on soap even when it's full, you pump and pump and pump and get a couple big drops to come out. Even worse though, today the faucet started leaking and flooded my counter, the water is coming out of the handle you use to turn it on and off, at the base where it swivels. I can't stop it from leaking. I can't take the handle off. Apparently I can't buy any parts for it either! Two years and it's Kaput? I'm really unhappy with it. : (

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Started leaking after 1 1/2 years! Bought the sedgewick faucet one an one half years ago and was impressed by the function and quality of the faucet. Unfortunately, after this period of time, the hot water line leaked and filled my cabinet and spilled out onto my hardwood flooring causing it to buckle. For such an expensive faucet, this is unacceptable. The leak is in the line itself and there are no replacement washers at a local hardware store. I am really disappointed with this unit. Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2 years old....flooding my counter I bought this faucet two years ago (march of 2015) It worked great up until today...when it started leaking around the handle you turn it on and off with...I can't for the life of me figure out how to take the handle off - and don't know what to do to make it stop leaking. Looks like i might need to just go buy a new faucet. I am NOT a happy customer right now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like a dream. I installed the sink after watching a short video and following the printed instructions. The one item not included in the box was a reducer valve from the 3/8" hose lines from the sink to the standard 1/2" water line. This was my first kitchen faucet installation and I am quite pleased with the whole process. The faucet looks fantastic and works beautifully - very smooth, light touch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits our needs well. I bought this after trying two other faucets and I was pleasantly surprised with the value of this item. I did have some small difficulty installing as we have a four hole sink and the faucet assembly kept wanting to slide to the right as the hoses kept pushing against the edge of the sink's center hole. To fix this, I simply trimmed the hole to make more room and than filed it down to remove any burrs from the edges (25 year old sink, worked great). I also put the handle on the left side of the sink as my wife and I are both right handed and usually have something in the right hand as we turn on the faucet. The faucet itself feels robust and the handle isn't too's easy to turn on half way without an overpowering spray of water splashing all over the counter, especially if you have items in your sink. I also love the length of the arm as the water goes right from faucet straight into the drain, again without any over-spray onto the counters. The retractable head, so far, seems robust as well. My only negative is that I wish the "multi-spray" feature stayed on when you turned the water off. Instead, you have to hit the button on the back of the faucet head to get it to come back on. Not a big deal as I notice other faucets do this as well. The finish on the faucet is also nice....doesn't show finger prints too easily. The only reason I don't give it five starts is because I have only had it for 24 hours. Time will tell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Where has this faucet been all my life!! This pull down faucet is the best faucet that we have ever purchased! I had company over last weekend, and my sisters kept playing with the faucet, threatening to take it home with them LOL. I highly recommended them to go to Home Depot for the purchase. Before the party was over, they were online, ordering the same faucet, what a bunch of copycats!! Its all good, at least they will be a bunch of happy copycats and new customers to Home Depot!! Thanks, I am a true Home Depot girl all the way and will continue to recommend your business!

It has some nice styling and is a very functional. We have had it over a year and it has worked flawlessly. It is a little harder to clean around the bottom of the fixture where is rests on the counter but I found that a toothbrush gets this part clean. The pressure on stream or spray is what I would expect it to be and haven’t noticed any reduction between the two. The weight at the bottom of the hose can make a bang when it hits something under the sink so I try to keep this clear. Overall, we have been very happy with this faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and Functional I am very happy with the look and function of the faucet. I work in a commercial kitchen and prefer using a sprayer to rinse my dishes. The pull down sprayer style makes it convenient to use. No more fighting to get the sprayer hose out and back in. If you plan to store a bunch of stuff under your sink keep in mind the hoses hang almost to the floor of the cabinet. Keep the hoses clear for best results. The installation went very well. We did have to widen the opening in our stainless steel sink just a bit with a file in order to not chew the hoses up during installation, but this is a sink issue not a faucet issue. The kit comes with a ring for installation of the sink surface or a plate to cover a 3 whole sink. Don't make the mistake of getting the ring on over the plate. Oops, or you'll end up taking it apart to get it off before you can tighten it up. Ask me why I know... I ended up just cutting the extra ring with a pair of cutters when I discovered my mistake.
