After reading other reviews we decided to purchase this screen. We have 2 young energetic cats and an 80 lb dog. My husband and I installed the screen ourselves and found it easy to do. We used staples and it was easy to pull tight. We chose the gray because I was afraid the black might make the porch too dark. It is not as clear as regular screen but I will gladly sacrifice that for strength. We have had it up for 2 months and it is holding up wonderfully. Our 2 cats are always climbing up the screen trying to get to moving things(leaves, frogs, lizards, etc) on the roof. When we tell them to get down you can see where their claws were but within a few seconds it closes up and you can see no evidence they have climbed the screen. It still looks as good as it did the day we installed it. I think because you can "see" the screen we have had no problem with our dog trying to run through it. If you have cats, this is definitely the kind of screen to purchase. We are completely happy!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tricia This is your best kept secret of a product!
After our sweet kitty Sneakers tore up the last screens we had on our porch, we were looking for something a little more resistant to his climbing the screens! Its been a few months now and he's not been able to dig into the screen. We've had other people purchase this screen after seeing it on our porch. One caution: its not the usual look that you may be use to with old screen. Its thick and sometime has a block out appearance, but worth its money!

The Gray PetScreen is a great alternative for old fashioned wire screens. It doesn't cut or poke you like the old screens. It is amazingly durable but very easy to work with.
