Answer:
I didn't measure, but they seemed about the same size as a standard 100w incandescent bulb. They are a bit heavier than the bulbs I replaced however. Should work.

Answer:
They are not nearly that big. The box they came in might be that size. The width is about the same as an incandescent bulb and probably a little longer. Try to research other A21 bulbs to get a better idea of the size.

NO! That height would be the size of a letter-size page width! The actual dimensions of the bulb are: Height 4.75" and Width 2.625". They should fit fine in your wall sconces.

If I measure from the socket rim (thereby ignoring the part of the base that screws into the socket) I get a height of about 4 inches. The width is a little less that 3"

Answer:
The bulb is approximately 4.9 inches tall including the base that screws into the lamp or fixture you want to use. The width of the bulb is about 2.75 inches. It takes up about the same space a CFL bulb. The dimensions given in the specs are I believe the size of the box the bulb is packaged in. Hope this helps.

Answer:
I didn't read the info on the box but the enclosed information with LED's that I have bought from three other manufacturers explicitly say NOT to use them in enclosures due to the heat they generate. I'm going to assume the same for these as they have fins that are impossible to touch when on.

Will it be too bright or too white? 2700K should be more yellowish that white. I hope.

Hi Chance,
I'm Travis from The Home Depot. Thanks for visiting our site.
These LED light bulbs are an excellent choice for both, your outside and inside lights.
LED bulbs are not affected by the cold temperatures that can cause Compact Fluorescent Lightbulbs (CFLs) to be slow to brighten up. LED lights are instant on, even in sub-zero temperatures.
The energy savings of these LED bulbs is even greater than that of CFLs.
The 2700K color of this LED is comparable to that of a "normal" incandescent soft white light bulb. This particular bulb gives off as much light as a 100 watt incandescent bulb, so its brightness will be adequate for a bright front porch.
It will not be too white and it will be plenty bright for your front light.
Thank you for asking,
-Travis Read Less

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 40 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 19 Watts = 100 Watts These LEDs are in two bare bulb ceiling sockets in my basement laundry room. Occasionally the lights get unintentionally left on, but now use 38 watts, instead of 200 watts. The light quality is virtually indistinguishable from the two 100 watt incandescent bulbs these replaced. I hope these LEDs meet and exceed their estimated long life. June 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bulbs are big, nice light I purchased these for a ceiling fixture below the kids' playroom, where even heavy-duty incandescent bulbs burn out after only a month or so. I don't like the sickly light of compact fluorescents, so I thought to try these. They are big - I had to bend the brackets in the fixture to add 1/2" in length for these bulbs to fit, and it is still very tight. That said, although the warm light isn't as nice as incandescent, it doesn't have the hospital feel of fluorescents. There is a noticeable delay when dimming, but they work great. They have already passed the one month mark, so my hopes are high that they'll outlast their predecessors. May 22, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by pricey, but worth it! These light bulbs are just what we needed. They are nice and bright and are supposed to last for years. At first I was hesitant to get them because of the price, for light bulbs! But, they are supposed to be very energy efficient and are supposed to last for a very long time. So I thought I'd try them since they were on sale. I'm so glad I got them. They are much brighter than a normal 100w bulb, which was just what we needed. We put one in our bedroom and the other in our kitchen and they made it much easier to see in both rooms. We were amazed at how bright they were and were happy with our purchase. I would have given them 5 stars, but they were pretty expensive. June 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by So far, so good Early in the ownership cycle so it's hard to say if they will last as long as they are supposed to. But, they are bright suckers. Using one in the garage and one as a porch light. Instant on as opposed some fluorescent I've used. The cold doesn't seem to affect them at all. been below zero a few times this winter (already) and they've still been at full brightness at the flick of a switch. Now to see if they'll last to justify their cost. i'd bump to 5 stars but it's too early to know how they will last. December 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great lightbulbs I really love LED lightbulbs, and these are very good ones. Indistinguishable from a traditional 100watt bulb, but they use a fraction of the power. The bulbs also feel very sturdy and durable. One small flaw: they flicker slightly for a second or two when you first turn them on. Hardly an issue though. These bulbs can still be pretty pricey though but are a great value if you can get them on sale. December 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by exactly what I wanted These bulbs produce a nice, warm color with an intensity probably well short of 100W, maybe 75W. Less directional than other LEDS. The length of the bulb is longer than an incandescent so consider where you are putting it before buying. Current draw is exactly as stated. Expensive even at these lower prices but I'll be happy if I can get a decade out of them. December 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by super bright pricey but great if on sale. gets VERY hot not normal for LED. but is super bright. Takes long time to repay itself if ever vs regular bulbs. December 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by well worth the investment The light bulb gives off excellent lighting. It is a better replacement than a cfl bulb. December 17, 2014
