Rated 1.3 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 3X the price, 1/10 the life comparied to commom size floresents. I installed a new fixture 5 months ago with 2 electronic ballasts powering 3 of these tubes. one tube died after 3 months, the other two died after 5 months. These tubes lights may last 20,000 hrs as the manufacturer claims if installed in the old school iron ballast fixtures, I don't know. But I do know they suffer sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) if installed into a fixture with electronic ballasts. That aside, they are still 3 to four times the price of any other size tube light. Very dissatisfied. June 23, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding.... ....ly poor life. Three bulbs installed in a new fixture in a laundry room lasted less than a year with very little use. They failed to start intermittently which developed into a full consistent failure. For an eleven dollar bulb with a 20,000 hour rated life, this is appalling performance. The big box store with the gable logo has house brand bulbs for less than seven dollars. November 1, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by t5 junk It's thru they give fantastic light for what they are but they die fast . This 4f bulbs are pure JUNK I purchase 6 fixture and in 18 months I replace all of them (12) and now again Im down to one bulb in each . Out of 6 fixture 2 of them have to be replaced . ***DON't waist your money get the T8 *** I wish I can replace mine for T8 December 19, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 28 w 4ft t5 alto fluorescent bulb I wish I had read these reviews before I bought mine. What a piece of junk! Bulbs burned out 3 times this year. Cost me $70 first of year. Home Depot replaced free but I feel I'm wasting my time. The lumens are great but not worth the money and aggravation. Don't know what I'll get next, but not T5s!! December 10, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 20,000 hours my foot Bought a new fixture less than a year ago. I didn't realize it required these small, over priced and hard to find bulbs. Two went bad already. August 9, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Did not last Long New home in laundry room. Light was wonderful while it lasted. This bulb lasted only 6 months. For the price very disappointed. June 11, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 6 Months is "Long Life"? I purchased a fixture in October 2012 that took 3 of these bulbs. All 3 burned out together last week. At the price they get for these, if the exorbitant cost replacement bulbs I got perform like the originals, I'll be shipping them and the fixture to DoE with a poignant suggestion what to do with them. Fortunately, there are still some dependable fixtures still available. March 31, 2013
