Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good purches I had other Cafe doors that I replaced these with. We just picked a different style. They were just a little taller the the old ones. They worked fine for what we are using them for. June 24, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Crummy wood, hard to stain evenly I don't normally submit negative reviews; however these café doors caused me extra time, money and wasted effort. I purchased a new can of high quality maple stain (to match my doorframe woodwork) recommended by a Home Depot paint employee. I had used this product successfully over the years. I observed the café doors are very porous plywood so I applied two separate heavy coats of Min-Wax pre-conditioning liquid. I eventually applied four coats of stain over four separate days, wiping and letting each coat completely dry, using the special tack cloths to smooth it out. The stain still came out uneven in many parts. I used a satin interior clear gloss spray which made it look better but the fact is, the wood is cheap plywood and takes hours and hours to get it looking halfway decent. I've done a lot of antique stripping and staining in the past but it was far better wood. I'd return these doors if I could. I have yet to hang the café doors because I'd rather not look at them everyday. May 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful addition to a problem space I had a low closet under stairs and a normal door would not work. This looks very nice The only problem was that the advertisement made it sound like additional hardware was needed, so I made an extra purchase not needed. April 26, 2016
