One of four lanterns had a chip in the glass.
Two had a different lid design. Two mounted differently from the othe two.

The lamp post looks great now and changes the whole look of the house along with the matching sconces on the garage.

These post lanterns are great quality and add a wonderful ambiance to my property. I installed two of them on my front gate and another three around my circular drive. I'm very happy to find this quality of product at Home Depot. It was a much greater value than other pricey lighting specialty stores.

This lamp post light is a nice addition to my outdoor lighting. I had to replace two old lamps that were damaged by falling limbs, and wanted to replace them with something that wasn't ultra-modern looking. This lamp was stylish and fit the bill. Although these lamps were brand new in the package, both were absolutely filthy and I had to disassemble the entire thing to get out all the glass and clean them. Once reassembled, they installed very easily, and they look nice. I was also able to replace the small decorative ball at the top with the original eagles from the old lamps which was a nice touch. The finials on this lamp are of a standard size. The only drawback to this lamp are changing the bulb. You have to use a screw driver from the bottom of the lamp fixture to unscrew at least four screws in order to remove the top and replace the bulb.

Light looks exactly like the picture on the box. Really no assembly, just connect the three wires and add your own standard base screw light. I used a 60 watt bulb and it looks great. I had to but a post top mount, but this was only $5.00 as I mounted the light on a concete column.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by FrugalWifeClub Beautiful but ridiculous effort to change a bulb!
Note this will not work with a DUSK TO DAWN sensor! Also the only way to change the bulb is to remove the ENTIRE UNIT risking breakage! You can not unscrew the top -- you have to remove three small screws at the base and be terribly careful not to lose them. But it surely is gorgeous and was in my price range.
