Hi lovemygarden,
What type of insects have you been having issues with on your thuja? Depending on what type of bugs you have, you can use some pesticides to help get rid of them. Also, if they are causing brown branches, you can cut those branches right off. Be sure to keep it watered well as this will help if you have bugs on your thuja. Hopefully this helps!

Hi Barbara,
Anna's Magic Ball Thuja is not deer resistant. However, the Spring Grove Thuja is deer resistant and would make a lovely addition to any yard!
