PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Model # SAMPRC1027800

Internet # 204636535

Black Lace features a very unique and intense purple/black foliage with intricate leaves. Often used by designers, Black Lace is extremely durable and adaptable to most sites. Left alone in a sunny environment, it can reach up to 8 ft. in height. This variety can easily be pruned back to fit into smaller settings as well. Because Black Lace attracts birds and resists deer, it works well in a container on the patio or grouped in the landscape. For best performance, use Proven Winners fertilizers and irrigate with Proven Winners Water Wise kit.

Answer:
Hi wmucca,
According to the Humane Socity of America, Sambucus leaves, bark, roots and buds can be toxic to pets. The fruit produced that attracts birds to eat are not considered poisonous.
Thank you,
