The combo kit was an amazing value, assuming the price hasn't risen (was around three-hun-dred), you should not hesitate, if you need this.
The .27 caliber red loads can be quite overpowering though. Even with those LARGE washers on the fasteners, they can sink 3/4" deep into a 2x4/6/8 piece of soft lumber. The power is adjustable, but they still sink 3/16" or better, when shooting into thin walled concrete block.
Solid concrete is a different story, keep the power level on high.
I'm remodeling a block house, and started out using tapcon screws.....what a waste of time and money. This is instant gratification and a real time saver.
The noise level is surprisingly low. About the same as striking a hammer on a board. I still recommend hearing protection of course, for the operator, but it is not necessarily required for others on the job site when using this tool.
1.) Uhm...trying to remove the fasteners. :) I made a few test shots, with ply and OSB, and that was a mistake, lol.
2.) The kick isn't bad at all, or at least doesn't feel bad at first. But it does affect my repetitive-motion-weakened wrists after only a few shots. But there's not much that doesn't affect them after 20 years of factory work.
3.) It comes with instructions. Haven't read them yet, but they are included, and I fear someday I'll have to read them. ;)

This powerload gun delivers excellent performance. The unit is made with high quality materials that hold up well to heavy usage. Loading and use is quick and very simple. The grip and contouring design fit your hand nicely and doesn't cause fatigue. Hardly any recoil, all the power is delivered to the pin. I use it mostly for attaching framing to concrete. Very pleased with the performance and results. Way better than my old single shot Remington model.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by kneebuster I am very satisfied with the product.
The .27 cal. yellow strip shots have plenty of power to drive the 3" nails. The recoil from the gun was a bit of a surprise, speaking from experience do not use anything but your hands to brace the gun, it will leave a bruise. I shot 100 nails the first day and only one shot did not fire ( 99% ) not bad. Cleaning after use was a bit of an adventure, there is a little metal ball not mentioned in the instructions. Cleaning is necessary, there is quite a bit of powder residue that builds up. So far I am very pleased with the performance of the tool.

The nailer was faster than the standard single shot systems that we've used in the past and is the choice of the guys. Lived up to expectations and arrived earlier than stated.
