Rated 4 out of 5Â by RachelW This is the right size roller you want to do this project.
The smaller size gives you better control and looses less to waste. You can also attach the small roller to pole to save your back a little. Getting two for this price (plus the grate) is a good deal. You should buy extras too, because the roller starts to shed and break down with use. I did 2 coats of a 160 sq ft. deck and ended up using 3 rollers. Home Depot did a great job at shipping fast to store. Unfortunate that you can't buy this product directly in stores. Be prepared with extra supplies so you don't run into problems.

I have one thing to mention about this roller kit. Their should be instructions on how to remove the roller from the handle when you are done with it. We soaked it for hours and it will not pull off. my husband had to use a wire cutter to cut it off. It was on so tight. The other reviews we read said that the roller would fall apart. This on did not. We where very pleased. But we kept adding water to the paint because it was hot out side while we where working with this kit and the paint. I am happy with the final results of the deck. I hope it last as long as they say.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by JimK Roller does not hold up.
The roller starts to fall apart after a short period of time. You then have to pick up the little chunks of the roller stuck in the Deck restore you just applied. Roller needs to be improved.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by JDobird The roller brushes in this kit are not worth 2 dead nats. They come apart while you are using them!
The brushes come apart while you are using them. They did not last long enough to cover a 10 x 10 foot deck with the first coat..

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Hugga This product isn't worth a dollar, never mind what I paid for it !!
Sorry to say, that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. When I first started using the roller, after about 5 minutes, the steel arm came loose. The plastic handle had a split in it where the steel arm went in. The rollers didn't last more than maybe 5,or 6 boards before the roller material started coming off and making lumps on what was left of the roller. My deck is only 10 by 10,so not that large.I believe that the roller kit was made in China, sooooooo !! I went to the local hardware store and got a regular paint roller ,which worked fine ,so as I could finish the job.
