I used 31%muriatic acid instead of the TSP provided. The acid etched the concrete surface to sandpaper grit. Rinsed thoroughly..dried for more than 24 hours. Then applied the epoxy..followed the directions, temperature and wait times accordingly. Painted the epoxy in 3 to 4 foot squares. I bought extra flakes with sparkle and spread with flair and heavier hand. My garage is 510 SF. Bought the 2 and 1/2 kit as well as the single kit. Had small waste. Goes on easily. The floor looks amazing!!! Will topcoat tomorrow with the high gloss coating and non skid additive. I feel like I should levitate around the garage now. The floor is so good to look at. I am going to install small heavy duty wheels on my tool stands. Thanks!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by USN Great product - if you know how to put it down correctly.
The product cures quickly, you must work fast without missing any spots. While you are rolling it, it is difficult to tell where you have actually applies enough product (it gets shiny as it cures). 1 box did my "2 car garage" and truthfully 1 more coat would make it perfect, but for the price 1 coat is good enough. My advice: buy the correct roller! If possible have 2 people rolling the product at the same time so you can get all the product down before it hardens. I worked as fast as I could by myself and barely was able finish the floor; as I was finishing the last little section the product was basically a solid and roller could barely move.

Your product will come out best when doing all your prep work. The more time you spend prepping the floor the better it will be. I painted the floors with the epoxy paint and sprinkled the chips in. Then I applied the High-Gloss Premium Floor epoxy. When applying be sure to have some kind of light reflecting off the floor so you can see where you are and where you were last at. Be sure to use the anti-skid bag and try and continue to mix the can with your stir stick the anti-skid granules like to settle to the bottom of the can.

Used the product on a 20 year old garage floor. Was concerned about capability of paint on a floor of this age, but Home Depot rep recommended it. I followed cleaning and prep instructions to a T, and even. Paint looked great for about 6 months, then started to wear off. 2 years later, and more than half of the paint has chipped off. The floor is a mess and we are constantly tracking paint dust and chips into the house. The paint may work well on a new floor, but I would definitely not use on an older floor.

Make shop floor look 'wet'. Make sure you apply very quick and continually stir while applying. Two people make it easier. Seems like it will last.

Prep work is arduous, but once your surface is prepped it goes on easily and looks great.

Floors came out awesome! I painted the floors with epoxy paint and then before it dried I sprinkled glitter on the floor. Then I sealed it with the floor coating kit and it came out amazing. Super easy and not complicated like I thought it was going to be. Only thing is it comes with a bag for non skid. I would not have added that it prevents a smooth floor. it is a very bumpy floor like sand was thrown in. But it did come out amazing.
