Today was a hot day so perhaps that is the cause of the problem I had with this paint. It seemed to go on like a matte finish powder rather than as "sticky" paint. I eventually held the can really close to the grill and it still did not go on like normal spray paint. I waited a couple of hours and I rubbed my hand across the grill and my hand was full of black powder.
Tomorrow I'll wash the grill and see if any paint actually stays on it.

Used it to touch up a fire pit ring. Works really good. No need to primer.

I used this to paint over an ugly rusted brown wood burning furnace and it totally brought it back to life. I painted the stovepipe as well and both have held up perfectly for two years now.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by SouthernSon Poor Coverage - needed two cans
I'm not really sure why everyone else is so high on this product. Maybe I got the two bad spray paint cans? But I thoroughly cleaned and prepped my surfaces, I properly shook the spray paint for a good 5-10 minutes, and I made sure to follow all directions. I however had uneven, blotchy results. Furthermore, I had to run back to Home Depot to buy another spray can to complete the second and third coat to finish the job.
Maybe their liquid paint in a can version might be a better option - that item seems to have higher reviews. Hindsight is 20/20.

After cleaning my wood stovepipe, I decided to give it a coat of hi-temp paint. My wife thought I put in new pipe. Looks great.

My family has been using Rust-Oleum products as long as I can remember. Brush or spray it works, stops rust and leaves a great finish. Spray cans are good for smaller projects or where you want a smoother finish. Brush applications, for larger projects, still leave a good finish. Brush clean up, as with any oil based product, can be messy. I usually buy a medium quality oil brush and wrap it in foil and plastic wrap until the job is complete, then let it harden and trash it!

I wish the paint looked like it laid down a little more evenly. Dries really quick but it did the job and it looks great
