I needed to drill holes in the aluminum sliding glass door frame to mount in concrete with Tapcons. In order for the door to slide by when done, the Tapcons needed countersinking. While my drill bits dulled in the aluminum and gave me a headache, when it came to using the countersink bit it was powerful and cut many holes without dulling or slowing. The last hole drilled as easy as the first. Perfect tool for my aluminum application.

the counter sink did what it was manufactured to do -- easy to use, produced clean accurate countersinks in a wood flooring transition. I've only done three countersinks with the tool at this point, but would rate it excellent.

Terrible not one sharp flute. Wound up burning the oak I was working with. Might work on balsa wood?

Need to do a few countersink in wood and some steel angle irons. It did a great job in the wood and steel. When using it for steel make sure you use a lubricate so burn up the countersink.
