Customer Questions & Answers

does this blower have a variable speed switch or just off and on?

Just on/off.

Description says it has a cord but I don't see it in the specs. I need to make sure I order one with a cord. How do I do that?

Asked by: Reggie
No cord, can't imagine why you'd want one. Battery life is great, get another tool with a battery and have one charging at all times. I've had a corded one in the past and this beats extension cords hands down.

How long does one charged battery last?

Asked by: Mkbuilder
It depends on the battery size. 5-20 minutes is the approximate range.

Will this work with a 24-volt Ryobi lithium battery?

This is the battery I use with my Ryobi Trimmer, so I already have a battery and charger, would prefer not to have to buy a whole new one.
Asked by: Robert
I would doubt that it would even go in the battery slot, and even if it did the blower would have a limited life span. But after thinking about it that may be just what this blower needs when operating on batteries as it runs much slower on batteries than plugged in. Maybe an extra 6 Volts DC would make it a better blower ?

ONE+ 150 MPH 200 CFM 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Hybrid Cordless or Corded Blower/Sweeper - Battery and Charger Not Included is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 461.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from RyobiONE+ 150 MPH 200 CFM blower (18-Volt) For what this product is advertised to do, cleaning off hard surfaces, it is adequate, not great just adequate. If you have a lot of blowing or large surfaces to clean this is not the product you want. I'm confident in saying it will not work for a lawn or anywhere that leaves and debris can get stuck on things. The battery option makes it very convenient and since I already owned other tools with the batteries and charger it fit my needs. If you have a deck that you need to clean frequently this is a good option. If you want to clean off your walk after cutting the grass it will be good. If you have a large tree and want to collect the leaves off the lawn find another product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit! Was looking for a light, easy to use blower and this one definitely fits my needs. I already had a Ryobi battery so this product was an affordable way to add a new tool to my collection. This blower is not as powerful as my old electric one. But the versatility of battery and the light weight makes it much more enjoyable to use. The power is just enough to blow leaves out of my rock beds but not too strong to take the rocks with it. My only wish list item would be to have a couple levels of power (this one is either on or off). Overall this product is a great value, especially if you have already bought into the Ryobi family.

It was delivered in less than 2 days in the original packaging and all was in great condition. I already had a couple of the 18 volt Lithium batteries charged so it was ready after attaching the nozzle. Works very well even on uneven pavers on my driveway. It is best to get the nozzle all the way down to the ground to get heavy items (seed pods etc.) moving though. It is not a commercial blower that you see landscapers using, but for my driveway and pool deck, it blows leaves, dust and palm tree seeds just fine. I only have the Ryobi 18V Lithium compact batteries and I get 10-15 minutes before a battery change. I think the 18V High Capacity batteries would be needed for any extended use.

Having used both I would say this isn't as powerful as a hand held gas blower, but it is really close. I only use the handheld one for the garage, shed and hard to reach spots, and this does the job just as well. I'm not sure it could blow out wet debris from gutters, and won't need to try since I installed gutter guards. I originally thought this would be good for my wife since she has a hard time with the pull start, but the convenience and light weight make this the one i reach for too. No exhaust smells in small spaces is a plus too.

I've read a few comments about this not having much power but I must disagree. I have found this has plenty for what it was designed for. I use with a battery for quick cleanup of small rear patio and front patio area. It is more than enough for blowing leaves/dust away. I actually used it to blow dry the water off my SUV. If I had a longer job I can simply plug it into mains power. Doesn't get much better than that and it is small enough to store in a cupboard which is ideal for me having downsized to a smaller place with no garage.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK to blow a few leaves or light trash. Just know what you want it to do. If you are looking for a blower to move a large pile of leaves, this isn't the one. I bought it to remove leaves that accumulate at my front door, the patio and to blow off the garage floor. it does those jobs well. I like accessibility of the on/off switch, lightweight and that the battery that fits my other tools works on this one. That said, be sure the Ryobi battery you already have is compatible with this blower. Check the printed material with this blower and the model number on your battery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great blower Bought this to replace a 5yr old Ryobi Model # P2105. Bought online to avoid the extra $40 for a compact battery and charger to save money toward an extra full size battery (local store only sells items with charger and compact battery). This blower is a step up from the other with a 30 mph higher speed and higher CFM rating. Get a good 15 -20 min of blowing from full size battery and this one has dual power option for corded use. Clears pine straw from pool deck an drive and works good for drying car off after washing.
