Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bob This purchase had no instructions in English
No instructions in English were enclosed. I asked home Depot employees and they did not know anything about it they instructed me to contact the manufacturer. I called on the day I need the work finished and the company was closed. I review the internet and still could not reload the spool to the weed eater.

The mfg conveniently (for them) does not indicate the number of feet in the spool. It is not very large compared to other weed wackers. Given the shortened number of feet, it makes this 3-spool package for $20 very expensive

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by loneagle twisted auto feed line
I purchased this because the store was out of the usual 0.065 line that came with my trimmer. I was concerned that it might not feed correctly but was pleasantly surprised. Not only does it feed normally, it cuts much better. not going back to the standard line.

The product itself is pretty good. The only issue is that it seems to use up really fast.

Had to buy my first replacement spools this year. Purchased the ryobi electric trimmer last year and it came with the blue colored feed line. Not sure what thickness it was, but this stuff seems to be quite strong and works just as well if not better than the stuff that came with the trimmer.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cattrack Much better line than the blue line!
Went to HD to get some replacement (blue line) spools for my less than year old 40V trimmer. While picking them up, I noticed the newer model 40V trimmer--steel shaft, attachments available (now on my want list). I noticed the two line bump head on it & the green twisted line. Looked like a good improvement as the .060 blue line seamed weak for the power of the 40V trimmer. Right next to the new trimmer was a rack of replacement spools with the green line on them. Label said they were for 18, 24 & 40 volt trimmers. I picked up a pack as they were only $1 more! I have now trimmed the yard twice & I must say there is certainly a difference! On tall stemmed weeds, it is more aggressive cutting them. I have a road ditch on the back side of my yard that I trim every third mowing. With the blue line, I had to stop several times to let line feed out as it would wear fast in heavy cutting. With the green line, it was cutting faster, I stopped halfway through it to check the line wear & it had only shortened 3/4 of an inch. I expect this green line to last more than twice as long as the thinner blue line. This is a major improvement for any Ryobi trimmer.

normal amount of difficulty installing. Gets stuck and requires taking out the battery and disassembling to manually unwinding at least once per use. I don't understand why that happens. I doesn't last long so I'm glad I got a three back.

I purchased this more expensive string, thinking that it would cut better and last longer than the cheaper, blue string from Ryobi. I was terribly wrong. This string acted like Twizzlers as I trimmed my lawn. I went through all 3 of the string packs when I trimmed my lawn last month, when I typically only go through 1/2 a string pack of the cheaper, blue string. Try it for yourself, but I do not recommend spending the extra money.
