Hello, my name is Leah with Sterling Customer Service. I am happy to assist you with your shower question.
I apologize you were unable to find the information you were looking for. The bottom track on all of our doors when installed correctly is designed to be a water tight seal during use. It is important to follow the sealing directions as outlined in the installation instructions. Using too much sealant in not recommended areas can actually cause the draining channel locations to not be able to function correctly.
Thank you for choosing Sterling Plumbing.

I just want to know if I'll be able to open the doors from either side from the inside of the shower. Extra towells are on the left side coming out of the shower but so is the toilet so the only way to get out is by the right side. It's a small bathroom. Thanks.

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by What's the matter with the craftmanship? We ordered this door on line-it arrived via NonStopDelivery, Inc. We received no notice of their arrival, the packaging was falling off and the driver complained that the package had been "in my way all day". When our contractor came to install the door, there was a gap in both sliders that created a hole large enough to insert a finger. The metal did not meet the glass in both sliders. Our contractor called and we were sent a brand new door even though he had only requested the metal frame parts. This time New England Motor called to set up delivery time which happened as planned. Our contractor opened the packaging and immediately saw that the previous problem was present again. This time only one of the sliders had the gap. He called the 800 number who wanted to ship another door but we had spoken to a Home Depot within driving distance who had a shower door on site. Our contractor went to get the door the next morning. Luckily the Home Depot associate had looked at the slider and found one that was correct. This was an unfortunate experience that took way too long. October 4, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Frequent product defects not caught The shower door glass was marred in several places by streaks that appeared to be part of the glass panels themselves. They were not scratches caused by external forces. I have arranged for their replacement by Kohler, but the defects are so obvious that they should not have been shipped to a customer at all. This experience is very typical of Home Depot. I have had several thousand dollar plus orders from them that all have had defects that should have been caught. Kohler has been very attentive to replacing the doors, but other problems have been handled poorly and unintelligently by Home Depot customer service reps. August 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice looking product Would prefer more stability on the bottom [interior track could be longer]. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy install My son and I installed this in a very short time. No special skills required. August 7, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Prevail shower stall Can't give a clear recommendation of yes or no. The sliding door appears a little flimsy. I will have to see how it withstands using it. Just got it, so not sure. August 12, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Regretably, this is cheap-looking shower door obscuring a fantastic new tiled interior We ordered this product because we wanted frosted shower doors with a brushed nickel finish. Both were adequately met except that, as another reviewer noted, the finish looks as much like aluminum as brushed nickel, and the towel bar mounting brackets are gray plastic rather than brushed nickel (I can only assume that was a cost cutting measure on the part of Kohler) which served to cheapen the look of an otherwise minimally elegant product. One other deficit is that from the outside there is no knob or lip to facilitate opening the door without the towel bar. You basically have to move the door with the towel bar so it is aligned with the other door so you can grasp and move both at the same time. December 16, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good quality at a budget price but finish is silver not nickel This is a decent door however the finish could hardly be called "nickel". This is an aluminum door and the finish is clearly aluminum. I was not sure when I got it that it was what I ordered. After confirming it was the nickel I decided to keep it anyway. It looks pretty nice but if you are definitely wanting nickel then get something else. January 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Shower Door Very inexpensive shower door that looks great and was easy to install. December 30, 2015
