Q:I have this exact set, but would like to install a new set, question is, can the old be removed and replaced, or Is this for new bathrooms that don’t have wall finishing yet?

A: Yes it can be replaced, you do have to cut the drywall and install to the studs or it will not fit. It is easy enough to install new drywall and patch and paint. the flange around the unit is approx 1.5 inches wide. It goes around the sides and the top.

Ordered 2 for two different homes and the first one...

Ordered 2 for two different homes and the first one was fine but second one had a rough area in the fiberglass but we did not know about it until after plumber had installed so we decided to keep even though we had to have a repair done one it. Too much trouble to remove at that point but I probably would not order again.
