Customer Reviews

38 in. x 81 in. Fiberglass Doorway Screen Curtain is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 37.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is really awesome for the price!!!!!! When purchasing this I was kind of doubtful; but after hanging it--I was shocked! The velcro really does keep it closed on the sides, and the weights at the bottom of the screen keep it taunt. With the aid of the magnets down the middle, it stays closed very well. I initially was buying it just for my dog to be able to look out, so I wasn't going to invest much....think I'll go back and buy another before they're all sold out OR before the price goes up when everyone finds out how well they work

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I was looking for My wife and I ended up using this on our interior master bedroom door to keep the cat out (with a bit of customizing), we were originally keeping the door closed, but the room would stay uncomfortably hot due to the door restricting the A/C air flow, now our room is much cooler and the cat is kept out of the room. It was quick and easy to set up and seems sturdy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed! I just wanted to keep the flies out when I have my deck door open, and this tension-rod with a screen is just perfect. The screen slips on just like a curtain, and there are velcro "stickies" to secure it on the door frame where you'd like it secured. I leave the bottom loose so that my cats can still go in and out. It solved my problem, so I'm greatly satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from it works... bought one for the balcony doors and it works. just make sure that its laid flat on the doorway to get rid of kinks and folds where bugs can get in. it can also be trimmed to fit the doorway.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but not Great! We purchased this for the garage door that leads into the kitchen. It did help keep bugs out but it was cumbersome. Many times it would trap you up, the velcro strips would sometimes rip from door frame and at times the magnets didn't always catch. But, I would buy it again and recommend it for a quick fix and/or the need to keep door open while keeping pests out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is very easy to install, no tools are needed. Would be better if it were about 2'' longer to eliminate gaps. I first saw this item in a friends home, she used it in her bedroom to keep flies & mosquiteos out. I was very happy to find it in my local Home Depot. During cooler days I like to leave the front door open. This works very well to keep the bugs outside. My cats have learned to push against it to come inside and go out. I almost didn't buy it thinking they would climb and tear the screen. Worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This has been great for us. This is still working well for us, we leave it up and our dogs run through it to go through their dog door. Our kids also run through it, giving it lots of use, and it still works well. I am very pleased.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your money. I purchased two of these to replace the "as seen on TV" versions, which were torn during some work that was done on the house. We didn't want to buy actual screen doors because we hope to replace the doors next year, but we did want the functionality of keeping our doors open while keeping bugs out. We purchased these because the material is much higher quality than our last one, but really that is all this product has over it's less expensive competitor. We have dogs and a toddler, all of whom like to wander out onto the patios, and this thing is constantly being knocked down. the tension bar just will not hold it in place when any force is applied. It's even been blown down by light breezes. The velcro that is attached and intended to keep it sealed around the perimeters would not adhere properly, so now they are basically just curtains. I already have curtains and blinds, neither of which did much to keep out bugs. And these don't either. Right now, my house is filled with flies and mosquitoes. Save your money and invest in either the cheap ones or actual screens.
