Howdy pam,
This product will prime and seal concrete so that you can be able to paint. Two coats are recommended for uniform finish.
Preparing the concrete before priming is key to getting a good adhesion.
Happy sealing,

I am sealing the outside of a CBS wall down to the foundation and will be installing french drains all the way around the house, as I have had water in the house before and would prefer not to go through that again. There is no basement as I live in Florida, but I am barely above sea level so have a water problem. I need a product that will prevent water coming in between the foundation and the walls of this rather old house. Am I looking at the right product?

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unhappy I purchased this sealer for our apparatus floor at our ambulance station. The sealer applied easy, dried quickly and evenly and looked great until it got wet. The sealer was applied on Monday and when we washed vehicles on Friday of the same week, the sealer washed off. It looked as if someone had dumped gallons of milk on the floor with the sealer coming off the floor. The sealer was applied to a floor that was 15 years old and never had sealer applied to it previously. The floor was professionally scrubbed and vacuumed with a zamboni looking machine prior to application. I will be looking for a different product as this was a waste of money. May 9, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Expected a somewhat more viscous product, this was like applying water. water cleanup made that easy, but the jury is still out on how well this works as a sealer. Due to the water-like consistency, I have my doubts as to the efficacy of this product as a waterproofing product. June 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not 100% waterproof!!! I ordered 2 of these for my concrete driveway and outside patio tiles. The application way easy with a sprayer. Don't waste your money on this buy more expensive weatherproofing sealer. Also, I've sprayed on the tile and after it dried completely, I sprayed water and it started to get milky like as if its starting to absorb the water! Thin file is on the tile and I removed it because it was slippery when wet. Maybe this sealer is better mixing with paint on vertical application instead of flat horizontal floor. The Eagle brand is better for concrete floor. I'm glad HomeDepot refunded the full amount. Thanks. August 16, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Never use on Concrete driveway Period A reviewer earlier showed a driveway with tire marks on it after 1 week and it looks exactly like mine. Spent $130.00 plus 6 hours applying 2 applications of sealer only to have to strip it all back off which will not be free or easy May 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Did as advertised I looked at other reviews of products to seal concrete pool pavers and joint sand and saw goo ratings. The last time I tried to have my pool pavers sealed it was a mess as the contractor tried to apply something with a roller. This time I did it myself. This stuff is great. I used a 3 gallon Echo hand sprayer and applied two even coats on the pavers after pressure washing the pavers. I resanded the gaps with fine sand, broomed the surface so the sand was only in the joints and applied the product. It looked milky going going on, but dried clear and set the loose sand so it is hard and permanent. I would recommend this to anyone needing to seal concrete pavers. August 2, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good product I've used this product to seal my dock (every other year) and paver patio/walkway (every three years)for years. The wood and stone still look like new, and that's something to brag about considering the salt air and strong sun of Florida. September 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Saved my brick Over the course of the last few months, we've had very heavy rains which is very unusual this time of year for my region. The hard rain was hitting the 60 year old brick facade of my fireplace and bleeding through to our newly renovated living room. Wanting to keep the beautiful look of the brick, I searched high and low for a product that would keep the bricks natural appearance yet lock out any moisture. This product didn't disappoint! At first I was very apprehensive because of the consistency, it goes on a watery white (almost appears like skim milk) but once dry, forms a type of waterproof seal. Think of it like rain-x for masonry . It does leave a slight (very slight) shine to the brick-which was a concern of mine- however it actually restored the natural look and appears amazing. 2 coats is essential! Very highly recommend this product and will be purchasing more for other projects around our home. September 25, 2016
