Answer:
if you're using this canopy on the beach, a great idea would be to use the sand on the beach to fill four bags and use them as weights. This way you don't have to buy weights or carry them around. At home I use four cinder blocks to keep my canopy in place

We just use two canopy's on the beach. protection was great. We just dug a hole 8" and put the canopy legs in them. No problem with wind. Then we took them off of the beach and placed them over our picnic tables for dinner.

It would be good for shade on the beach. You would need anchor it. I suggest bags that you fill with sand and attach with ropes to the top. It is seriously going to try to fly away in the wind! If it rains, take it down before it collapses. It does not shed water.

This is definitely not a good beach canopy. I set our brand new canopy up at home before taking to the beach, and a brief rain shower collapsed it. If you take to the beach, make sure you take it down if a rainstorm pops up.

Practice set up a couple times before any event so you understand it's design. I kept it low and expanded frame by stretching the four corners outward until I could comfortably cover the canvas top over corners and attach Velcro. At this point everyone must hold their corners while one person pops the cross members by ducking underneath and helping the scissor cross members from center to corners until all four post lock in place. Additionally, locking the sliding pin locks at upper corner post you will see. That's why I say practice. Once you understand it, it's really very easy.

I recommend using a set of 4 concrete weights to keep it from flying away should the wind get underneath it is all. It's large, so you should have a large space for set up. It's very nice and sturdy and should meet your needs.

Once the frame is all unfolded, you can use lag screws to secure the feet to the floor. That would be if you want it permanently stay unfolded. I would not recommend that. Just unfold when you need it else store it away. There are canopy weight plates you can buy to add weight to legs during use and that's a better choice.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not heavy duty, but not expensive! This 10x10 canopy is not heavy duty, but it was only $99. It's clearly advertised as a temporary patio canopy. I plan to keep it permanently set up to block the strong, direct, east morning sun streaming through my ten-foot sliding glass doors. The canopy is very lightweight; I doubt it will last two months. In fact, the entire canopy blew off w/i one hour of setting it up in 10 MPH winds. I reattached the canopy and added four spring clamps to strengthen the hold down. It was a little difficult to set up by myself, but not too bad and did it in 15 minutes. I also bought two sets of the 4-pack Caravan weight plates to hold down the base and those seem like they'll do the job. July 29, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Did the trick! Was true to name "EZ UP" Did the job and well! We live in a windy area and are able to leave the metal portion up all the time... August 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what we needed We needed a pop up tent that was easy to use - this tent fits the bill. I like the feature it has that you put it in it's carrying bag and the bag has wheels. Good feature, but for older people or just any one trying to carry a lot of stuff, this is great. August 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product It is well constructed and easy to put up with two people. I really like how the canvas top fits over the frame; it slips over the frame corners and when you make the final adjustments fits very snugly. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly what i needed easy to assemble and use. also disassembly was equally easy August 9, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Garbage This tent collapsed and the frame bent within a day of putting it up. It could not stand up to rain. August 16, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by A no go for me Purchased this tent 3 months ago. Had it up for two days and of course it rains and then I find a hole in the canopy. Called the company and was told they do not cover weather related matters. I have to pay $40 for a new canopy. 1 week later in breaking down the frame and the slinky sides that are supposed to slide close snap, not in one but two places. I made sure all of the locks were off the tent frame was closing and wham double snap it's broken. They are sending a new frame but to be honest if it hadn't been too long I would have taken this back. Would not recommend this product. Only have two stars because the customer service when I called was ok May 28, 2016
