The LSTA18 strap is intended for wood-to-wood applications. It has an allowable tension load of 1235 lbs. if connecting Douglas Fir or Southern Pine members, or 1110 lbs. if connecting Spruce-Pine-Fir or Hem Fir members. It requires a quantity of 14 - 10d common nails (0.148" diameter x 3" long). 10dx1 1/2" nails may be substituted for the 10d common nails at full capacity except when installing the Read More
