Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by NJ5J Great for mounting 4X4 wooden post to existing concrete structure.
I had to remove and replace a 4X4 post that my dog ate through - that is right. It had been sunk in the ground and concrete poured around. I removed the old post, dug out the wood in the base, poured new concrete in the hole and used this as the support. It worked great. It is adjustable to one side only so I had to plumb for exact location but it worked very well. I used Simpson structural screws with hex head and they are working great. Has been mounted for several months now with no issues. Simpson makes great products. There ya go.

If you are going to take the time & money to do a job, there is absolutely no reason not to do it right the first time...this post base does just that. To truly complete your project, plan on building post base trim - much better appearance than seeing those steel bases.

They were easy to install made installing posts pleasant. I had a easy time installing posts plus they were raised one inch off the floor.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by scott Easy install
Easier and cheaper to use than the comparable product, had to take the other product back. 4 x 4 lumber did not fit inside the other (more expensive one).

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Maureen Very disappointed in the wood I received
Almost half of the wood we had delivered was BAD - cracked, wedges, etc. Had to discard about $100 worth of it - very, very disappointed.

Easy to install. Used this for my post anchors on my patio I built. Does allow some wobble though definitely have to put some extra cross bracing but overall a pretty good product I would use again

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jake A great post anchor when you can't 'go to ground'!
When you are trying to make a firm upright connection to a flat surface this is a great fix! It mounts to both surfaces securely and makes a stable post for your project.
