Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what I needed. I used two of these to anchor the stair rail posts at the base of stairs to a new deck I built. I also have angle ties anchoring the stair stringers to the concrete pad on the other side. By tying the posts to the post base and the stringers it made everything very sturdy. December 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A great post anchor when you can't 'go to ground'! When you are trying to make a firm upright connection to a flat surface this is a great fix! It mounts to both surfaces securely and makes a stable post for your project. August 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for the Job Perfect product for mounting vertical 4X4 wooden post on concrete slab. It lifts the post off the concrete and allows room for a masonry bolt to fix the mount in place. The galvanized metal rap on each side make it easy to adhere to post with wood screws. I'm very pleased. January 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Simple Great and half the price of Lowe's. Lowes is better quality but there's no need for it. Simpson co sets code standards. December 8, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by did the job but would have preferred something a little more substantial while this item did what I wanted- anchor a 4x4 post on a masonry column the metal was rather light weight and I felt the price was on the heavy weight side. The ones I purchased in the past were heavier gauge metal and had a larger range to adjust the position to the mounting bolt. September 12, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worked Even tho the posts have other anchoring and are treated, I used these to elevate them from standing in the water. October 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great Used these post anchors for a pergola I was building on a back yard slab. Drilled 1/2" holes for Red Head wedge inserts, applied post anchors over them and tightened nut to hold in place. Everything worked as expected and posts were securely attached. No surpirises. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sensible & Easy to Use Meets Code for separation of post from concrete in a sensible, easy-to-use manner. Using common sense, it's quick and easy to install this correctly if you have the proper tools for fastening it to the concrete, particularly a hammer drill. It is well-built from heavy-duty galvanized steel and should last for several decades if properly installed. I've used these quite happily on several projects. April 7, 2010
