Customer Reviews

Crema Marfil Herringbone 12 in. x 12 in. x 8 mm Marble Floor and Wall Tile is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value I went to a local specialty tile shop and found this same marble herringbone tile for $25/sf. I liked it, but it was way too expenseive. I went on home depot's website and found the exact same thing for a fraction of the price. It looks beautiful, the only issue i had was the marble is very soft and breaks easily when you're cutting small pieces. I put the herringbone pattern on a 45 degree angle for my backsplash accent, so there were a lot of tiny triangles to cut and a lot of them just crumbled in the saw. Not sure if the more expensive stuff would have been easier to cut, but for the price I was fine spending a little extra time recutting some small pieces that broke. The pictures show the finished backsplash. It came out really well and looks high end for all big-box bought materials.
