Answer:
Yes, sure. The HD web site has a pic showing a granite top. A typical 3m think 37x22 granite top w/sink is not very heavy (typically less than 100lbs).

Answer:
It can be painted with compatible paints. Oil-based is best, and use a primer. You can Google "paint melamine".

Answer:
No way to stain.
The finish is not very durable and different materials, so I would not try to paint over it

Answer:
Remodel 2013,
We do not recommend staining or painting the Manchester Series vanity. It is constructed on laminate sides and RTF door fronts which will not accept paint or stain well.
Thanks,
St. Paul Team

Answer:
There may be 2" behind the bottom drawer, if that. Not really enough for a drain pipe. If you were determined, you could put the trap through the floor of the cabinet, into the drawer space, and find a way to prevent the drawer from hitting the pipe and causing problems, although the drawer would not open more than about half way with the trap that low--perhaps fine for a towel drawer.

Answer:
The bottom drawer is 18 inches deep, so I think you'll find limited room back there - less than 2 inches. I don't think a 1 1/2 inch drain will fit all the way into the cabinet.

Snowstorm, thank you for your interest! About 2.75” is left behind the drawer to allow for plumbing.
