Great gun cabinet for someone starting out with just a few firearms. Substantial lock and door handle. Nice paint finish and acceptable sturdiness. Good value for the money.

Gun cabinet arrived in great shape. I did run into the missing key issue like other reviewers had posted. However, Stack-On customer service was very easy to get in touch with and had keys sent out same day. I will probably line the inside of the cabinet just to cover up the metal inside and customize a little, but overall it's a very nice cabinet and worth the price. If you need space for 10 guns, I would probably bump up to a 16+ cabinet. It seems capacity specs are always pushing it when you come to gun cabinets. This is not a heavy duty gun safe with any fire rating. But if you're just looking to keep your firearms/ammo or any other items out of reach from your kids, their friends, etc, you won't be disappointed.

I bought this to use as an ammo cabinet, rather than for gun storage. I have a fire rated safe for that. That being said, I covered the interior with carpet that matches that of the safe. I also added adjustable shelves for ammo storage and bolted to both floor and wall.
Cabinst seems to be made nice and sturdy & the finish is flawless. Lock was a little hard to lock & unlock, but just a squirt of WD-40 took care of that. The only negative things I could mention would be that the gun rests are kinda cheap foam that has double sided tape that you peel & stick to the wall. Also, not sure if you could actually fit 10 long guns in it.
As long as this is bolted to both the floor and wall, it seems it would be pretty secure against a smash & grab, but a determined thief could probably get into it with a little effort. Probably best said that it would keep honest people honest, and keep curious kids from gaining access to your collection.

This is a fair gun safe. If someone is intent to get in they could given a bit of time. But I have seen where even the heavy safes were able to be breached. I bought this one to keep out any small child and to give me the peace of mind that my guns aren't just placed in a closet. With this said I'm glad with my purchase and it is great looking also.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by spsca wonderful size, good quality, great value!
Gun safe will be used for in closet safety of cameras, electronics, and other valuables, in addition to small arms.
Case is attractive, perfect sized, easy to install (bolt to studs), and easily accessible.
Metal on case is sufficient thickness to prevent quick theft, but is NOT a heavy gauge case. Similarly locks are regular key (single lock), instead of hardened metal with a "special" difficult key. Satisfactory for my purposes, but if serious gun/rifle owner, I would want case more substantial steel, and top and bottom key locks of hardened steel.
Perfect for budget and a secured locked cabinet within a closet, to make possible theft more difficult.

Gun cabinet. Not a safe but well constructed. Comes all welded, no assembly except for the shelf. Appears to be solid and the locking mechanism works well. Happy with the quality. Expect to drill additional holes to meet your installation requirements. Fasten in as many places and on as many sides as possible. Packaging was damaged but inspected it before UPS left and it was perfect. Black finish and details look good.

Not a gun safe, but you can secure the cabinet to the wall and provide reasonable security for your firearms for a reasonable price. I was able to fit two side-by-side shot guns and four long rifles with scopes in cabinet. The deeper cabinet is essential for the scopes. The shelf was too low to fit one of the rifles (shotgun with a choke) so I had to leave the shelf out. A flimsy piece of foam stuck to the back of the cabinet holds the guns in place, but it does the job.
