Customer Questions & Answers

Could this accessory hold or at least keep standing a gas powered weed eater/wacker/trimmer?

Asked by: AskingForHelp
Properly installed within a Suncast Sierra shed, the Suncast BMSA6B Sierra Shed Tool Accessory Kit can contain a variety of common tools. The three hooks, each capable of holding up to a 25 pound tool, and a basket give you versatility. You could stand up the gas powered weed trimmer and depending on the shape and weight of your weed trimmer, hook the handle end part through one of the double hooks or even the shaft through the S hook. Thanks for asking and for your interest in Suncast storage products.

Will this fit Sears Craftsman Shed 65002?

The Sears shed is the same as the Suncast BMS6310 which this kit is supposed to fit. I want something to hold long handle tools like shovels and rakes on the wall so i can still store the lawnmower. Thanks
Asked by: jim81212
Thank you for your question, Jim81212. The Sears Craftsman 6 by 3 and the Suncast Sierra 6 by 3 shed are the same except for color and logo. The Suncast Sierra Shed too accessory kit model BMSA6B will fit both. Please review p. 7 of the assembly manual for the BMSA6B to see back wall location. A manual is available in the Info & Guides section next to Product Information for the BMSA6B kit sold at Home Depot. We appreciate your interest in Suncast products, Jim.

Customer Reviews

Sierra Shed Tool Accessory Kit is rated 2.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from overpriced hooks Seems a bit expensive for a couple of hooks. On my shed only the top holes lined up so the braces aren't very secure since the rest of the screws went unused. Fortunately my shovel and hoe aren't heavy so there won't be a problem. i discovered the holes in the walls of the shed are for screw in hooks. I bought a couple for a few bucks and screwed them in. They fit perfectly. If there are screw in double hooks then this accessory kit is obsolete. Bottom line--not worth the price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected. With the exception of this accessory (sierra shed tool accessory kit), I've been very happy with Suncast products. I expected to receive an accessory that would hold long handle items like broom, shovel, rake, etc. As it turned out the accessory is too short to hold these items and its practicality for other items is questionable. It is, however, nicely made.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Useful Accesory for the Suncast Shed This accessory kit had some issues with installation as other reviewers have written. If you hang it at the level of the top holes then only three holes line up. If you hang it at the level of the bottom set of pre-drilled holes then more holes line up, but then it is not tall enough to hold shovels and rakes, etc. We hung it high and unlike another reviewer we would not hang things on it with only the top set of screws in, so we screwed through the plastic where the screw holes were in the brackets even though there was not pre-drilled holes and it is very sturdy. Be careful when you install the racks because if you decide later to move them, they can bend and be hard to reinstall. I think it is an excellent product for organizing garden equipment which is what we are using it for in our 72" by 32" Suncast shed. The larger Suncast sheds, per the instructions have more options for hanging this accessory, the pre-drilled holes might line up better. It is sturdy, the basket and hooks are sturdy and of excellent quality so I think it is a good value for the money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Way overpriced!! This product is a bit expensive for a couple hooks and a couple of baskets. Also when I attached it to the wall of the shed, the hooks were to close to the ground, so my could not rest on the hooks without touching the ground. I had to unscrew everything and raise up the bars and level them myself to make this contraption some what useful. Overpriced and poorly designed. Don't know why they don't make a bar that screws horizontally to the wall that you could put hooks on like Rubbermaid does.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good product, but the instructions were unclear, it will not fit high enough on the wall (continued below) to hold long handled garden tools, the holes in the brackets did not line up with the marks on the wall of the shed, I had to get a Civil Engineer to install it
