My Pool Deck with 20 years old Cool Deck texture on it. The Cool Deck is about 1500 soft and shows some wear and tear. I want to resurfaced using your Acrylic paint but not sure of 1) Bonding well with the old surface, 2) will able to prevent water to seep through the paint and to avoid damage the cool deck underneath causing damage to the top surface. I do not want to scrap off 1500 soft of Cool Deck area. It is tedious and expensive.
Do you make Epoxy paint which will hold better than acrylic paint for outdoor. I do not need skid resistance paint , do you make plain/

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Great product! My garage floor had not been painted in over 20 years and was covered with paint spatters and general grunge. I cleaned it with TSP before painting. The Sure Step covered well with one coat and the floor looks wonderful. The only thing made me slightly unhappy. I went over some areas that got scuffed when moving items (about an hour after painting) and the newly touched up areas had a different texture than the rest of the floor. Probably because the paint was not completely dry. Otherwise, I love the way my garage looks. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Turned a death trap garage into a very useable space. Bought a new home and the Garage was painted with a very smooth and traction free paint. Moving in resulted in a few slip and falls as it was raining out and was a virtual death trap. Two coats of Sure Step and it was looking good and useable. January 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely Happy With Results After 25 years of weather beating down on our unsealed concrete pool deck, I had to do something. I ended up powerwashing the entire 650 sq ft with Simple Green & then began to paint. I could only paint first thing in the morning when the concrete was in the shade. I ended up using 7 gallons, 4 for the first coat & 3 for the second coat since the concrete was so porous. I am extremely happy with the result. The painted pool area is cooler when walking on it, less abrasive on your feet, & looks like a new surface. I haven't powerwashed any of it, but I am hopeful that the paint will not come off. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Product & Service We're converting our two-car garage into an art studio for my wife. After researching paint for concrete floors, based on our requirements, I selected this paint. Delivery was fast and convenient. The product goes on well, with both brush and roller. It's a little thick, but that's to be expected. So far, we're half-way through on one gallon, so the remaining gallon should do it. It's a HUGE improvement over the old floor. December 14, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Does the job Knowing that I'd need 2 gallons, I mixed them in one larger bucket to ensure uniformity. Other than a basic cleaning there was no prep work to the existing spalled and cracked concrete floor. Coverage was excellent and it made a huge difference in the look of the garage floor. If just for pedestrian traffic it's great. But constant vehicular traffic showed patching only where the tires sat...so I now see 4 contact patches on the garage floor. But it's livable. I would still recommend this product. Perhaps had I etched may have proved a better finish, but I wanted to just get it done. See before and after pics. June 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pool Deck My pool deck had surface staining, cracks and surface brittle concrete for over 30 years, I wanted to get it resurfaced but could not afford it, I had estimates of $3700.00 which was not in my budget. My son came up from Florida and researched the different types of pool decking and he picked out the Sure Step because it had wonderful reviews. My son cleaned. pressure washed, used 300 lbs of cement patching, filled the many cracks and prepped the deck. He rolled on the Sure Step and applied 2 coats which in each application took him 2 days. We ordered 20 (1 gal cans ) and only used 13 after 2 coats. Returned leftover unused cans to local Home Depot. Now as you can see the before and after pictures, we love our new pool deck which cost me a little over $500.00 We now are proud of our new pool deck and family and friends are enjoying the beautiful new look. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't stick! No good Followed manufacturers instructions to the letter! Pressure washed concrete, let it dry. Applied a clear adhesive primer. Let that dry. Applied 1 coat of anti-slip. Let that dry. Then applied a second coat in the opposite direction. Days later put it to 'work' and it peeled up by the bucket loads. We used it on the flooring of our horse pool barn and it's no match for horse's hooves (shod or barefoot, does not matter). Really disappointed in its ability to 'stick' to the concrete.
