Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Saved me a boat-load in electrician fees Two story family room in new house was too dark. Rented scaffolding to put 4 can lights in ceiling. Only needed to run HOT wire to the lights since the TCP app is serving as their "load wire" Nice to have programming capability in that room for mood and security settings. 22 years from now when the LED lights die, the next owner of this house will have to rent scaffolding again. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by we have five pot lights in an older home we just bought. Love having lots of lighting in our living room. However watching a movie was not so pleasant. Wanted more control on the lights without dealing with wiring, electrical and etc. We tested two in our master, loved them. I wish these were on the store shelves instead of having to order online. But we did, love that with the use of our phone or remote we can control the dimmer. With the phone we can control which ones are on that helps create the best environment for movies. Love love them! no wiring, no messing with switches, can even select which ones to come on as though on a timer when away with the use of our smart phones. so happy with the investment so far. we have had them in for about a month. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great bulbs, part of a great system I'm a fan of the TCP Connected system overall, and these bulbs are consistent with the quality of that system. They add to the system seamlessly, they're brighter than I expected them to be, and the color of light is indistinguishable from incandescent. I installed track lighting using 3 of these above my ping pong table -- I think it's best case lighting. And I love being able to turn them on or off from anywhere. June 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by works well Have light in a bullet light fixture and it works great. I know I bought this online but my Home Depot in San Antonio on ih10 and Dezavala stop carrying the start up kit. I am now wondering if I bought a product which is going to be discontinued and I should have gone with a different setup. March 11, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not what I thought I ordered I cannot really evaluate this. I wanted a LED outdoor flood light. This bulb is a "Connected" bulb which requires other hardware which I did not have, nor wish to acquire. The "good" rating is simply because, the return label was included. Within 24 hours the product was on its way back. March 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bumpy start but good support helped out! After picking up a Connected by TCP starter kit on sale and being impressed with the features as well as the brightness and temperature of the light produced from the two included A19 (60W equivilant) bulbs, I decided to pickup 4 of these for my living room. I have 4 pot lights that are wired to two switches and so I am unable to use conventional dimmer switches. While watching TV the lights being full on were sometimes annoying and full off too dark for others in the room. So I bought 4 of the BR30 bulbs to add to my starter kit. I had some issues with keeping them connected to the gateway unit initially but after several prompt back and forth emails with TCP support the issue was resolved and the setup is working great! The light is brighter than other LED bulbs I have used and the color/temp looks just like the incandescent bulbs these replaced. Very happy! Just make sure when you add a room to the system that you change the color for that room to something other than the default black. Its apparently a known bug and causes problems. May 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great so far I've had them for several weeks and they work great. No problems connecting them wirelessly to my TCP lighting system. Hopefully they last a long time. May 6, 2014
