I used 3 of them for mounting oculus camera sensors to walls, that mounting directly on the walls not a good option. Works Great and I get good room scale coverage for my Oculus Rift VR. I been using them now since beginning of year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice ratchet up plus final snug up rotating action! Steel slots for ratcheting pole up quickly, plus steel threads to revolve pole around for final snug up, means it can't slip down on you. Also soft rubber feet will grip the floor and ceiling. It's a good one!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Real Handy I bought 2 of these support rods for attaching clamp lights when I'm painting a room or taping/sanding drywall. Often there are inadequate or no lights in the rooms I'm working in and these support rods will come in handy. I can extend them from floor to ceiling and attach lights near the tops of the rods when I'm working on a ceiling or I can attache a couple of lights to each rod to illuminate a wall. I also own some shorter rods for other tasks. They are a good value, I couldn't fabricate an alternative for what these cost. I'm sure I'll find other uses for them as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great silent helper... This device is easy to use and takes up almost no space for storage. I've already used it to raise ductwork and began installing ceiling with it. It's a breeze to set up and adjust and the rubber pads swivel to allow other than true plumb situations. When a helper isn't handy, this is the perfect alternative.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great third hand This tool is a must for doing just about anything above your head, used it the other day for installing a chimney stove pipe going through a exterior wall, it held up the outside pipe perfectly, you can adjust it to about any height you need, lite weight and very durable, easy to use, the swivel pads on ether end are great for awkward positions.
