What are the dimensions of the shipped box it comes in? Want to be sure I can fit it in or on top of my car, as I need to transport it from the shipping destination.

Its Very wide--too wide to fit into the baack of a 1999ish subruban. Lashed it to the top and drove slow. the box is about 8 inches x6 feet by 5 feet.

Answer:
You will be able to fit it on top of your car, but when you tighten it down enough to keep it from flying away you will no doubt damage the insert. It is folded in "thirds" in the box (which is probably 4ft X 6ft X 7") so any pressure you apply to the box will squeeze those folds (actually curves, not complete folds) and they will crack.
Don't do it. Borrow or rent a truck.

Answer:
It needs to be cut either way, it doesn't just slide into place. A utility knife works fine for this, so there is no minimum width.

Hi Sharon,
The manufacturer specifically states "Do Not Install these walls over existing tile". The manufacturer recommends installing these walls over regular drywall or waterproof drywall.

The product description says this fits alcoves 57-60" wide. Ours is 57" but since this is a 1-piece surround, I'm confused as to how the back wall on this can be trimmed to fit. Can you please explain? Thank you.

Answer:
You dont' trim the back wall, you trip the sides/edges.
You can use a straight edge of any kind to guide a razor knife to make a score. A second stroke on this score will either yield a cut or allow you to bend and snap it along that cut. If you're careful you can do it.
Note where your shelves will end up after cutting from the ends though...not centered beneath shower head.

Tile Seamless Bathtub Wall Set in White is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little tough to install but nice looking I needed one that would allow me to cut a hole for a pre-existing window above the tub and this one fit the bill as inexpensive and shapeable, and it allowed me to avoid seems along the corners. Installation was tough because the walls did not make 90 degree angles where they meet the tub or at their corners (very old home). I was able to overcome this by trimming triangular wedges out from the ends toward where the curves would rest at the corners (put it in upside down and make level marks from the wall corners to the corner of the insert along the top, remove, trim, flip, re-install). Getting the insert to adhere to the wall was also tough because the thing just doesn’t want to stay folded. I had to cut pieces of 2X4 at just the right lengths to use as supports. A good tip here is to trust in the power of liquid nails; if you apply the stuff (I used a trowel after putting down lines of liquid nails), stick the insert to the wall, and then pull it away a few times, it sticks MUCH better. I also blew it when I cut the holes for the faucets and had to use extra-large escutcheon plates. Be ready to wrestle with it, but if you win you will end up with a nice looking splash board. If your bathroom is indeed square the job will be 90% easier, but it can be made to fit any shape within reason. Fill the voids of the shelves from the back with foam-filler, and then trim it flat, before installation, to add some integrity to these notoriously weak spots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice surround a little hard to tuck corners the same Is really not hard to install but don't take short cuts to fit I did and its not as flexible as it seems. I cracked the top And cut the first line of tile and it worked fine and when drilling for faucet drill with a board behind to support the surround its alot easier

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value, no seams... Really didn't want to deal with seams and found this gem. Comes rolled up, very light and easy to move. Make sure and dry set it up, level your edges and things first. The corners are rounded, but they provide plastic to cut/cap the top open area. Had to have some flat boards to hold up the wall and make sure all the glue stuck since it's so flexible.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Junk I remodeled my entire bathroom using Home Depot products. This surround was a failure. It came broken, but nothing a little caulk wouldn't fix IF the quality was better. We ended up driving to Home Depot to get a different surround as this one was also too small. I wouldn't recommend this one, Home Depot has PLENTY of other options. Also, if you are getting an adhesive surround, just go pick it up in the store. This type of material clearly does not ship well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tub surround looks beautiful! We are remodeling the bathroom of a rental property we recently acquired and searched high and low for a one-piece tub surround. Home Depot had the perfect choice for us! My husband installed it with absolutely no problems and it looks awesome! Really dressed up the plain little bathroom and gave it that classy look!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Picture online and description misrepresented I bought this online, thinking the one piece shower/tub wall was like the one piece tub/shower units Home Depot sells, only just the walls not the tub. I could of bought linoleum off the rolls that HD sells would of been just as good as the thin, flexible one piece tub walls I received . I would of returned immediately, except I had already waited 2 1/2 weeks for it to be shipped for a remodel project we had been waiting on to proceed .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Was not long enough Cannot really comment on this. Had to bring it back, it was not long enough for our bathroom wall, seemed to be good quality . Do not know how easy it would be to install.
