This flooring was easy to install and looks great my husband and I (I'm 8 months pregnant btw) installed it ourselves. We put this flooring in our built in the 1800's dining room it's been in for a couple weeks and I love it. We have 3 boys, 2 dogs and a cat so easy to clean is important. It ties in lighter and dark wood colors into the room. My only complaint was that one of the boxes we received all but two of the pieces had cracked off adhesive on the end. The instructions says to use product from the same color run and work from at least 5 pkgs at a time. When I called about the return Home Depot was very nice and helpful. I was told it would be 2-3 weeks until a replacement arrived and I would have to return and reorder the product then I would need to call the manufacture tell them my order number and they would pull product from the same color run. They were willing to handle everything for us but that wasn't what I wanted to hear when I was in the middle of laying the flooring. It ended up that we had purchased enough extra that we didn't end up needing the damaged box so we opted to return it. My advice is open and check each box for damage before you begin. I'm posting a picture but we haven't finished putting up the baseboards and I haven't gotten the chairs all painted.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by HonestShopper Beautiful flooring...
We had this installed in a bedroom and two 20 foot long hallways, two weeks ago. It is not as dark as the photo shows, What attracted me to this color is that it is not just one color, it has lights and darks in it and looks like real woodgrain. We did have Home Depot install it. They used a 6 mil underlayment and did an excellent job of the installation. I have strictly followed the recommendations made by the manufacturer. It pays to download the manuel and read it thoroughly as there are a few steps to complete after the installation but nothing hard, just cleaning then putting a couple coats of a cleaner/sealer made by Allure. This flooring is absolutely beautiful and we could not be happier with it, or the service provided by Home Depot.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by brian Great product but take some precautions
Product was fairly easy to install and looks good. Two problems have developed:1) little bumbs are in a few spots that I believe are plank trimmings that stuck to back of otherplanks,2) a few of the boards are popping up slightly at their joints as the glue strips are not holding tight. The total sq. ft. of the project was 450. Problem planks are 7 (bumbs and pop-ups).

The only reason I put 4 stars for Ease of Installation is that I'm 65 and my knees are not the same as they were 10 years ago. That said, this floor could have easily been installed in much less time than I did. My husband helped me the first day getting started until I was comfortable with the product. We only worked on it a couple of hours. The next day was much the same but it was halfway done at that point. I worked on it alone the next day and finished it except for some trim work around a radiator. The following evening I finished the floor and we installed the matching quarter round and transition strips. I just have to say it's gorgeous! My son is going to put this in his basement and I think it will look outstanding in that application as well. I have 2 Siberian Huskies and they are not scratching the finish at all. (One of them is rather afraid to walk across it but he's getting better at not running full tilt and sliding out on the corners.) I have been using a spray mop with plain water and the clean-up is extremely easy, even after the dogs track in mud and grime. It's has only been done a week, so I'll let you know how it looks in a few months. Once again, I love this floor!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by IdahoLani Third time I have purchased I love it so much!
This is more expensive than many laminates. We buy it because we have Doberman Pinchers and their nails really tear up tile and wood. But not this stuff. It stands up to everything we have thrown at it and still looks good. You want to have a pretty smooth floor, sharp items will poke through after time. We have laid it over cement in an old garage converted to a lovely family room, over sub floor in a bedroom and now over half of our basement floor.
We had to patch holes in the cement and make sure things were clean with no sharp items under the tile. But it really handled the "Not level" floor with ease. And it looks fantastic!
