A bit costly for something so flimsy. If you hold it up to the light you can see right through it and the adhesive backing isnt that strong. That aside, it is perfect to easily cover an old or damaged floor. But I would only use it in a spare room or basement. These are not for heavy traffic or the main rooms in your home. And it is NOT grayish in color like someone mentioned earlier. It is a PERFECT barkwood color

Overall: EASY. Lightweight packages. Each piece marked with arrow so one can install with "the grain." Simple to cut with scissor or to reposition. Photo on HD site shows a slightly olive color. It is not at all olive. It is soft gray. When laid, this is not perfect but given the floor I was covering, it was SO much better and something I could do myself.

I usually don't have good luck with DIY projects, but this was easy and fast. I put it down in my back porch on concrete. It was easy to remove as needed. If it gets stained I only have to change the tile. I'd say it is idiot proof. I liked the color and it seems durable.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by CharF Inexpensive solution but not best quality
The product is very light weight and easy to install. The backing is sticky and stays put. The tiles are very thin and when held up to light, you can see through it, however, once placed on the floor, gives a very pleasant look. This product was placed in a foyer of a Genealogy Library that doesn't get a lot of traffic and furniture will not be moved a lot.

Don't let the thickness, or thinness, of this carpet fool you. All though it is very thin and flimsy feeling, once it is on the floor it's great. I installed this directly on concrete with no padding on my back patio which has an awning over it. It has an excellent feel to your feet when walking on it in socks or bare feet. We have had many severe storms where the rain blows in a completely soaks the carpet. It dries out quickly and shows no evidence of any staining or mildew. I have mistakenly walked on it with red mud on my shoes and it cleans up easily with no trace of the spots. It is not the cheapest thing out there, but I am completely satisfied!!!

We have two bathrooms, I was able to install this carpet in both in just two evenings. It looks great and feels a lot better on bare feet than the tile it covered.

We have used this product in several areas such as hallways, stairs and to cover concrete floor in the basement. We have also used it decoratively on top of shelves. Works will, but sometimes it doesn't stick as well as we would like it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by cphil A little thin for covering decking. Otherwise easy to work with.
Decking (1"x 4") seams and high points show through the carpet tiles in places. Alternating opposing tiles lends an attractive appearance to the floor.
