A few years back I pulled up the carpet in my dining room after my cat had ruined it (on the days he didn't feel well, he would use that room to let me know!) I couldn't decide what to do for flooring...didn't have a ton of money to spend, had two animals, I knew tile would get really cold in that room, etc. So, I painted the sub-floor to look like Spanish tile. It looked awesome, but it was still only a sub-floor. Fast forward about five years later and I was really sick of the look and feel of that floor. I looked everywhere, Pinterest, etc. for a good, inexpensive alternative. Nothing looked easy enough for me to do by myself. I stumbled upon carpet tiles on the Home Depot website and knew that was the ticket. The room would feel warm and I could pull one of the tiles up and replace it if it got ruined. I ordered 7 boxes of the walnut color and they all looked great and of the same dye lot. They were incredibly easy to install. I just mopped the painted sub-floor and was done with a 12X16 room in about four hours. The tiles are pretty easy to cut with an Xacto knife and I found them to stick REALLY well. It's been two weeks and they haven't buckled anywhere and the corners are all stuck perfectly. I have vacuumed and it cleans up beautifully. Feels good underfoot, too. This is a fantastic solution for anyone that doesn't want to invest in carpet, tile or hardwood and has animals or little kids. The whole room cost me $270!

We finally replaced our,18yr old finished rec room in our basement.
We wanted to be able to,save, money , get a carpet product that was durable and sustainable and if damaged changed out.
This product, for all the marks. Yes you know, its carpet tike, not,the hobnob style is a great choice . Life,is decent and, easy to clean. Let me say I wish we did this sooner had we known our project would cost 675 bucks vs the 1300 We spent 18 yrs ago. If you want to replace and be sustainable This is it..they are made, from, recycled water bottles. It improved our rec room 1000 percent.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Grandpa54 Material is adequate for the application
The product information did not show well enough how this product had an extra thin backing instead of a reasonably thick base. Carpet nap looks good enough. Easy to use. Placed in a travel trailer in a low traffic area. Not sure how well it will hold up but it should be adequate for the need. Would not place this material in a high traffic location due to its' light weight. But not a bad item for what it has been purchased to do.

I used this carpet tile to re-carpet my screened-in porch. The surface was a concrete slab. It was VERY easy to install and looks great. I definitely recommend it particularly because of the price, ease of installation, and the end result.

I used these carpet tiles to replace the original, 30yr old carpet in my motorhome's bedroom after I gutted the twin beds and installed a walk around queen. It was easy to install and the adhesive actually holds it down very well. I only have one small spots I'll have to go back and touch up with a bit of carpet adhesive. The carpet is very thin; great for RV or patio use.

Very attractive and easy to install. We used a checkerboard pattern on a cement garage floor for a future pool table. Looks very professional (see photo) and don't have to worry about color matches, which seems to be an issue, either for installation or replacement. Only question will be wear and tear.
