Answer:
that depends on the engine specs. My Stihl blower is 50:1 mix, my craftsman chain saw is 40:1. i'd suggest checking owners manual or go on-line using the make and model, either way should get you the proper mix .

I would advise you to look in your owners manual for the manufacturers recommendation. Most of my Echo products are 50:1, my chain saws are 40:1.

You need to look at the instructions for each of your tools. They should specify what fuel mixture is recommended by the manufacturer.

Answer:
It all depends. Some pieces of 2-cycle outdoor power equipment call for the 40:1 ratio while other use the 50:1. Check the owners manual. Also, some equipment has the ration printed on or near the gas cap.

Answer:
You must know if you have a 2 cycle device or a 4 cycle. Almost all Mowers, push or riding are 4 cycle and use regular gas (NOT MIXED WITH OIL. Engine will have dip stick to check oil if 4 cycle, seperate gas tank.

Answer:
check the owners manual or go on line with the make and model number. In general most lawn mowers are 4 stroke motors and require seperate gas and oil . This product is specifically made for 2 stroke engines which most smaller engines (weed eaters, blowers , chainsaws) However, some older lawn boy mowers were 2 stroke and could use a product like this.

Answer:
As far as I know, this can be used in any 2-cycle engine, as long as you use the appropriate ratio mixture. Not for 4-cycle engines that run on straight gasoline.

Answer:
If an engine is a 4-cycle, then a 4 cycle fuel is used. 2 cycle equipment requires having both oil and gasoline mixed together in order to protect the engine parts. Most lawn mowers use a 4 cycle engine and therefore, can run on pump gas (non-ethanol recommended) OR the TRUFUEL 4 CYCLE mix in the SILVER can.

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 52 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Buy this The Trufuel was easy to use. Just open the top and pour in the tank. Too much crazy stuff going on with new fuel not being good to run in small engines that I thought I would give this stuff a whirl. I use it in a leaf blower and chain saw that I don't use much as this product is quite expensive, but I don't have to worry about the fuel going bad either. December 18, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better than pump gas Modern pump gas contains ethanol which is not good on two-cycle outdoor power equipment. Using this product reduces the need for frequent carburetor rebuilds, improves starting, and lessons the chances of having any fuel-related problems. These benefits offset any additional expense in the cost of the fuel itself. I use the 40:1 TRUFUEL in a leaf blower. The 50:1 is used in all two-cycle edgers and string trimmers. The TRUFUEL 4-cycle mix is also used in other small equipment running a 4 cycle engine. These products have proven there worth over the last 4 lawn care seasons. October 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Have been using for 3 years I have been using this product for 3 years and am more than pleased. The blower and string trimmer can set all year and start easily in the spring. For the last two years, I have bought a case (6 cans) and it lasts the entire year. You can't beat the price if you find it on special. Last year and also this year I have purchased when Home Depot runs on special. Around $20 for a case. Will continue to buy. April 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product Hard starting gas trimmer from new, would not idle either. Used regular 87 octane gas and 40 to 1 mix. Talked to service center ,they recommended TRUFUEL,fixed the problem IMMEDIATELY.Starts and runs fine. May 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Fuel The fuel was easy to use. It is already mixed so you do not lose time mixing and wondering if you got it right. The stablizer should keep the fuel fresh in the can or tank. April 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great product easy to use, limits the time of purchasing gas and a bottle of oil mix. keeps your equipment running clean. April 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by trufuel The ease and quality of the fuel removed all mess and guess work. March 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works perfect! I have a cheaper Poulan Pro trimmer that I got brand new last year! First year it worked perfect! Second year I couldn't get it to stay on at all. Extremely frustrating! I cleaned the carburetor, remixed the fuel 2 times, used seafoam, and nothing worked! I put this stuff in and the first time...no change! I was very disappointed! But than I just let it sit overnight and it worked perfect. Started on the first pull and stayed on with more power than ever. I couldn't be happier with this product. I'm recomending it to all of my friends! August 21, 2014
