Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by GLD111 Great Heater While Its working, TERRIBLE Service for Warranty
I've owned an UFO UK-15 infrared heater for just under two years when it stopped working. I've been trying to get UFO to help fix it since it is still under warranty. I've tried calling them in Canada (no USA offices exist anymore) and also tried emailing to the Canadian and Turkish Offices, but I am getting no response. I would stay away from these heaters because they are not cheap and, if it stops working, you may have to throw it away since customer service doesn't seem to exist.

I use this product in my garage here in ND. Temperatures routinely go well below zero and I have no other heater in the garage. I keep my dogs in the garage at night and they sleep about 6 feet below this heater and it keeps them plenty warm. Only down side is you have to be standing directly in line with where the heater is facing or you won't feel any heat from it as it doesn't radiate to the sides at all. I think the price is a little to steep too. I'd be much happier if this was less than $200.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by alangski Power hungry french fry lamp, warms you nicely from the inside
I got this with the stand, and it is about a foot too high for what I'd like in order to keep warm on my outdoor sofa. I got this with a 5 year warranty directly from the manufacturer with the $75 stand included for $299 in January 2013. I have left it out in the rain on my roof deck several times now and it still works. I also had to put an extension cord on this since the closest outlet couldn't handle the 1500W. I also don't like how bright it is, making it hard to be discreet with a big orange spotlight on you.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by USAFVeteran Heater can not be used as baseboard/floor positioned heater
No where in the heater's description did it state that the heater should only be used as a wall mounted unit. It's picture suggests that it could be used like a baseboard heater that rests on the floor. The description should include a warning that the unit is not designed for use as a floor unit.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bill Great product if it will not be subect to dampness.
Worked fine, except it cannot be exposed to wetness (due to the remote control), even though you advertise it as an indoor / outdoor heater. I discovered the limitation when I read the user / installation manual.
