In my opinion it burns @ close to 90% efficiency. Burns VERY hot, so make certain your wood is not TOO dry.

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 38 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by could be better I just installed this stove last week and it's a nice looking stove, but even when I put seasoned hickory in it, it did not do the secondary burn. I found I have to leave the door cracked open for a while to get it really going like it should. The paint fumes wasn't that bad and the glass stayed clean, it's a nice budget stove but for the price you could get the drolet ht2000. This stove just don't draft as well as other stoves on the market but hopefully it helps lower the electric bill some, so all an all its not bad stove but there are better stoves for the money. Bought stove at TSC in Salem IN January 31, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stove developed cracks after only 17 months I bought this stove in September of 2014 about a month ago I noticed a sizable crack in the bottom left of the opening to the stove. I use a temperature gauge and have never exceeded the correct operation temperature of the stove, however I live in a cold climate so it is fired up almost every day during the winter. I don't believe this stove is made from quality steel (thus its price) and cannot handle being consistently operated. Of course they only offer a one year warranty ( on replaceable parts) for these stoves and now I see why. This is not a dishwasher or other complicated appliance. When people buy stoves they expect them to last for many years without problems. The one year warranty is a joke. Also, he blower is incredibly noisy. It can be adjusted to different speeds which will quite it down only until the stove expands or contracts causing loud noises to reappear. I have checked and all bolts are tight on all parts of the stove so it seams this noise issue is not solvable. Do yourself a favor and spend more money on a decent stove. March 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Burned 8 cord in it and is working flawlessly I purchased this stove for my 36 x 60 insulated pole building 14 months ago and I couldn't be happier with it. With it's 12 ft sidewalls, there is a lot of space to heat but this thing keeps up well. Our winters are not too severe in my area averaging 20 to 35 degrees outside and in those conditions, the stove will keep my shop 60 to 65 on high. The only reason I deducted for quality is because the fan blower stopped working within the first few weeks. I didn't bother ordering a new one because I didn't think it pushed enough air anyway. I purchased a couple large fans that I situated behind and above to move the air. For the cost, I could not be happier and would purchase this product again without hesitation. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stove at a great price. It's a nice little stove. Puts out plenty of heat, and has a nice wide door for loading. The big window with lazy flames is absolutely gorgeous. Its still summer here, and we light it up at night just to 'set the mood'! The fan was a nice surpirse.... It has a rheostat on it, which makes the speed of the fan infinitely adjustable. Ordered it online, it was on my doorstep in 7 days. Love it! Thanks, HD! September 11, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Stove heats the house only problem is that it will not bank up for more than six hours but that is manageable. It does a wonderful job of heating our 1600 sf home evenly. The ash pan below the firebox is so handy for cleaning along with the opening in the firebox to move the ashes to the pan. The window is our substitute for TV, it's so fun to watch the fire. January 8, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This Stove Does Its Job I purchased the Magnolia 2015 w/blower kit in 2010,6 yrs ago,and its worked great every time I need it.I placed my stove in the basement on a hearth with the back walls lined with stone to the ceiling.I have a window in the basement 12ft from the stove that I leave cracked about 1/4 inch for fresh air.My home is 2700 sg ft and the living area upstairs stays on average 75 degrees with outside temps averaging between 20 at night and 35 at day in Culpeper,va.I haven't had to change any gaskets and other than replacing a couple of broke firebricks, this stove does what I ask of it.If ever I need another stove i'll be sure to contact U.S. Stove Company. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Stove Originally purchased for $899.99, installed in my home, then found a competitor advertising same stove for $584.99. Called to get 90 day, and a male service rep tried to deny the full price match (should be fired). Called back and spoke with a female representative, and was credited with full price match. Stove is currently maintaining my 1800 sq. ft home at 73 degrees, works well, and the secondary combustion is saving me a lot of firewood. home depot stepped up and honored their price match policy, but you had better have your ducks in a row and be on your toes to see it through.
