I am considering this product to protect my kitchen cabinets which i'm in the process of painting. I would like to avoid brush strokes. Can I apply the poly with a roller or will that cause air bubbles in the finish?

Answer:
We do not recommend applying Varathane Polyurethane with a roller because it can lead to bubbles in the finish. Instead, to prevent brush marks, thin the product with 5% water and use a good quality synthetic brush or a foam roller.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product Easy to apply, defiantly low odor. WE have had it on for 14 months so far and still looking like the day we applied it. Hubby wanted gloss...like a gym floor, I wanted Satin, doesn't show dirt, we compromised and got semi gloss! We are both happy, got shine, doesn't show dirt! January 17, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Ruined days of work on my floor!! We painted an intricate pattern on our floor with latex paint - took 5 days to do this - allowed it to dry for another 5 days and then applied this water based varathane. It goes on milky so we were not worried at first as it says it dried clear. Well it did NOT!!! There are milky streaks all over the place - basically the floor is ruined - we would have to strip it all down and repaint. I am NOT HAPPY!!!! :( May 9, 2013
