I wanted to seal a matte tile with a painted design. On the internet several people had recommended using this product to seal matte ceramic tiles with painted designs. Following the directions, I applied a first coat and then within 2 hours I applied a second coat. Unfortunately when the second coat dried, it peeled off and I was unable to apply a third coat and decided that this product was not going to perform as I hoped it would.

I am very pleased with this product. I used it to seal the table top of a piece I had chalk painted. I used three coats per the instructions. It applies easily with a sponge brush. The result gave my piece a less chalky look but it still looks great and it is very durable. I did find it to have a little bit of an odor but not too strong.

Great for use over chalk paint when wax is not enough protection for a heavy user.

I've used over a gallon of this product over the last year of home improvement projects and so far it's held up very, very well. Application is as easy as any other clean, water-based varnish. Low-odor, easy clean-up, quick re-coat time. If they would make it in a matte finish, I would love it even more.

This product keeps peeling off my table. I've done 3 coats on it. Doesn't seem very durable.

I used this as a top, protective coat over fusion paint that I used to paint my kitchen table and chairs. It painted on smoothly. I used a sponge brush to apply and it dried without lines or brush strokes. I put three coats on the furniture and I still had over half of the can left. After I let it cure a couple of days, it has held up excellently. It has provided and strong and durable protective layer over the fusion paint.
