I bought these and put both in my kitchen as that is the only place I've ever found mice. Still set a trap just in case. As soon as it started raining, bam, mouse in the trap and these are still plugged. Don't waste your money. Call an actual exterminator and save yourself the hassle.

First time dealing with a rat infestation in my life. I have killed 5 in the last 3 days with wooden snap traps but they have been chewing up the inside of my walls. I picked up the 3-pack of these (slightly different version) and brought them home. As I walked in the door, I could hear the rats chewing on my walls. Within 30 seconds of plugging all 3 in at various locations in the kitchen and living room, the chewing stopped!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a house with a detached garage. The foundation was heaving in the middle, leaving huge gaps on both sides of the double door. Upon moving in, I vacuumed up a TON of mouse droppings from the garage. I immediately started using these devices and I NEVER found mouse droppings in my garage for the 5 years I lived there.

I've never written a review for anything but hope this helps someone else who's fighting rodents in their home...specifically mice. Thought we'd give this a try because the concept sounded good in theory. Since it had mixed reviews, we were skeptical so I kept the package/receipt and set conventional traps until it was proven successful. Our uninvited guests are coming in through gaps around the pipes behind our stove. I plugged it in an unobstructed outlet that is next to the stove and just above the counter top. We purchased this yesterday, installed it yesterday morning, and thought it was a success because all was quiet throughout most of the night. Needless to say, it's 5:05 AM and I just heard not 1 but 2 mouse traps get triggered downstairs. Sent my husband down to check everything out and he found 2 captured mice on the floor...1 about 4 feet away and the other about 6 feet away from the device. Unlike other similar devices, this one is quiet but it will be returned tomorrow and we'll try the noisy, obnoxious, Black and Decker device that seems to have much better success. I'll write a review on that product soon.

i bought a bunch of these to "humanely" repel the mice that were sneaking in from the cold. not only did they not work, i think the mice were dancing to them. then, they treated the poison pellets i resorted to like a salad bar. big mouse party at our house! i went back to the unhumane but foolproof victor traps. no more mice. this product is definitely not the fabled "better mouse trap."
