We are building a new home. We liked the first one, so we ordered 3 more for the other sinks. Our plumbing contractor installed this drain.
We have problems with drains that have a rod running through the drain to raise and lower the stopper. We believe we have eliminated that mechanism.

It looked and worked good for the first year and then it broke. Unfortunately, I purchased it 13 months before it broke so it is out of warranty and I have to go to my credit card company to get it reimbursed. The piece that held the metal pop-up on the drain broke off, so I now have the drain without a top. It'll take time to get my money back, time to find a better product with the same exact dimensions for the hole in my sink and more money to get a plummer to install the new drain in my sink! Plus, I have 2 sinks, so if I change one, I have to change the other. What a headache!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by brendon Seems like a good idea but having issues
Installed this with a vessel bowl in a rented bathroom. Now receiving a complaint within 3 months about it not working... There is a spring jammed in a center post that is suppose to act as the 'pop' in the pop up drain. It is suppose to work like a clickable pen where it toggles the drain open and closed. Now I cannot seem to find any diagrams online to figure out if I can yank this thing apart and fix it..... The concept of this drain is good, not sure about the actual engineering of it though, it appears prone to this problem after looking at it.
