3 ft. Wooden Half-Log Edging is rated 2.6 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT WORTH IT! Here in Florida I set these up in my front garden , they looked good, but they can't withstand the elements, just after one summer, they're splitting in half or they've rotten from the bottom up, which shows you that you've just wasted your money, I will go with cement, it can always be pressure washed or paint it... Good luck with yours, mine barely last one year.... That sucks....

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Plan on modifying or re-purchasing every 3 years Initially I felt the price was worth what appeared to be a well-thought out and quality product. I bought over 120' of this edging would hold up well. Unfortunately I did not accurately read the label and mistook the Cedar coloring to be actual Cedar instead the "wood" product which was indicated. By the end of the first summer and escalating through the end of now the beginning of the 3rd Spring, the color faded and is now grey, ~ 75% has rotted or simply fallen apart, ~ 50% of the backing staples have pulled out, and ~ 25% of the metal stakes no longer stay in the wood many coming loose even before the wood rotted. Also, the plastic backing stiffens and twists so that it is impossible to maintain proper alignment. Despite the aforementioned drawbacks, the aesthetics are second to none and work extremely well to hold back the slope of my gardens. Yes, I thought of buying actual Cedar and making a similar product myself but with needed drilling and securing of stakes and finding plastic backing and long staples with which to secure it, I'm hopeful that less effort will be needed to help ensure a better product life by sealing the bottom and back of the product to help prevent rotting and using garden pins (like those to hold weed block in place) for better alignment before the plastic hardens. Sure am hopeful!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from VERY NICE TO DRESS UP OUR PATH I purchased 12 of these these as I wanted to have a fancy edge around our pathway from our driveway to our garage. We are very pleased with the outcome. However since these only have 2 rods to stick in the ground which are not on the ends. It will be almost impossible to get them in a straight line and all the logs will shift every which way. So what we did to resolve this was bought some 1 inch x 2 inch x 6 foot boards and a box of 2 inch wood screws. The additional supplies cost us another 12 bucks but was worth it especially if you want your logs straight. We used 1 board for every 2 log edgings that we purchased. What we did was laid 2 of the log edging next to each other in our driveway. Then attached the board along the bottom where the black strip is located, in order to connect two of log edging units together. We put a screw threw the board and into each individual log. Then we installed them into the ground in the now 6 foot sections. Very happy with our path.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good purchse I loved the look of the edging, but there are not enough metal spikes to hold it properly in place. It is also very flimsy as there is one thin piece of plastic that is stapled on the back and connects all of the individual blocks. I had a really tough time getting them stand up straight and ended up pulling all of them out. The picture makes it look like there is possibly a piece of metal or wood that would keep all pieces standing straight and in formation., but they actually just go every which way. Really liked the look, but would not recomend

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Count On Replacing Every Two or Three Years The product is beautiful for the first two years, after that they rot and start coming away from the plastic backing. For the price they should last a lot longer. When I first put these in they last two-three years..then I replaced...and now after 7 years I am having to replace them again. This will be the third time and last. TOO EXPENSIVE for the product you get!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not made to last Well, I spent $100 on this border for around my garden. After the third year these have fallen apart and have been eaten away by termites. These are not meant to last. Too bad they were not made with quality wood, it really was a pretty design. I'm going with plastic resin this time around, $100 is a lot for a border around a garden!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice looking but poorly designed We bought 20 of these last spring to go around our flower beds and by the end of the summer they were beginning to fall apart. The pieces do not stay attached to the plastic strip on the back very well and the whole border begins to sag. The stakes are in the center of the piece so the ends don't stay in the ground or line up with pieces next to it. This year we are purchasing new edging because so many of the pieces are broken and the whole row of edging is misaligned. This wasn't inexpensive but it is cheap. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone unless you're interested in buying a product you still have to fix and/or modify in order to have it serve its purpose.
