I needed a drywall saw to square up some drywall and plaster that had been water damaged, in order to have a clean line to replace the damaged area. This saw worked very well--it has aggressive teeth that ate right through even the very thick layer of plaster on my very old ceiling. Not a fun job at all, but this tool made it slightly more bearable.

Used this saw in high school building trades classes. Even the high school boys didn't tear it up. Good saw worth the money.

Not a bad drywall saw, but really a bit unwieldy for most home-based jobs. It's a quick cutter, so that's nice, but it's a bit bulky as far as drywall saws go, and the "piercing tip" isn't much more than a gimick - it was foiled by the painted surface I tried it on.
